US Allows These Passengers To Enter Their Country
Starting November 8th, 2021, the US has allowed all passengers who are fully vaccinated to enter their nation.
This decision has been taken after encouraging reports of vaccination came in from India, China, Mexico and other nations whose citizens were waiting to enter the USA.
White House assistant press secretary Kevin Munoz said, “The US’ new travel policy that requires vaccination for foreign national travelers to the United States will begin on Nov 8. This announcement and date applies to both international air travel and land travel. This policy is guided by public health, stringent, and consistent.”
But Not All Vaccines Will Be Considered
To be allowed to enter the USA, only those vaccines will be considered which are approved by WHO and FDA, or US Food and Drug Administration.
As of now, only these vaccines are approved by WHO and FDA: AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson, Sinopharm and Sinovac.
Besides, there will be two phases of this entire schedule of opening up the US borders for foreigners: In the first phase, non-vaccinated passengers will be allowed for only essential trips.
In the 2nd phase, starting January, 2022, only vaccinated passengers will be allowed to enter the US.
