Jio’s New Prepaid Plans Gives Full Access To Disney+Hotstar Without Any Restrictions (Full Details)

Reliance Jio has introduced new prepaid plans which offer a complimentary VIP subscription to Disney + Hotstar.

Users can enjoy unrestricted access to the entire content in the streaming app throughout the subscription’s validity which is of 1 year.

The move comes about as Disney + Hotstar is changing its subscription plans.

What This Means

What is special about the addition of the OTT subscription is that users can enjoy, apart from local and regional content, all international content in English language.

This includes Disney+ originals, TV shows from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, HBO, FX, Showtime and much more.

Earlier, subscribers without a premium subscription could not stream Disney+ originals, TV shows & movies from Disney, National Geographic, among other content.

The prepaid plans also come with access to live sports, Hotstar specials, blockbuster movies and TV shows and dubbed content in regional languages.

Standard features of Jio’s new plans include unlimited voice, data, SMS, and access to various Jio apps.

Rs 499 Plan

It lasts for 28 days with 3 GB data per day.

There are also free SMS and calls benefits.

Rs 666 Plan

This costs more than the previous plan and also has reduced daily data but has an extended validity period.

It lasts for 56-days with 2 GB data per day.

Rs 888 Plan

This is an 84-day plan with 2 GB data per day.

Rs 2,599 Plan

It has a validity period of an entire year with 2 GB data per day.

This amounts to a total of 740 GB of data for the year.

Data Add-On Plan

It is priced at Rs 549 and includes 1.5 GB data per day.

It is valid for 56 days.

Note that with this booster pack, there are no free SMS and calls benefits.

Telcos Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea also have content deals with Disney+ Hotstar. 

However, as of now there is no news of any revisions in their plans.
