Poco F3 India launch will happen finally, but not as the rebranded Redmi K40 models, but the latest Gaming phone by Redmi, the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. Xiaomi already launched Mi 11X series in the country, both are rebranded Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro+, so the Poco F3 India launch will take place in the form of Poco F3 GT, a rebranded Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.Â
Leaked in MIUI 12 code, Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition is said to launch in India as Poco F3 GT.
Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition already debuted in China, Redmi’s first-ever gaming phone.
Tipster Kacper Skrzypek (@kacskrz) on Twitter posted the code for the MIUI 12 which revealed model number M2104K0I will come to the country as Poco F3 GT. The other Redmi K40 models have already been unveiled in India, and the now Game Enhanced Edition will launch in India as the Poco F3 GT. Redmi K40 has been unveiled as Poco F3 in different countries which came to India as Mi 11X series very recently alongside Mi 11 Ultra.
While it’s too early to confirm the development, but if Poco F3 GT India launch happens, this will be the second F-series device from the brand in India after Poco F1 in 2018.
M2104K0I model number confirms Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, and if it’s real, Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition India launch will happen as Poco F3 GT. Coming to Poco F3 GT specifications, the Poco F3 GT will have the similar specs as Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition apart from the brand.
So, Poco F3 GT will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display offering a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
In terms of optics, Poco F3 GT will have a triple-camera setup at the back powered by a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront, the device will feature a 16MP unit. Poco F3 GT will be backed by a 5,056mAh battery, 67W charging speed and 5G connectivity. Poco F3 GT price in India may start at around Rs 30,000 or somewhere close to it.
