Vivo NEX 5 has been in news for the under display selfie camera. Leaked specifications were spotted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Vivo NEX 5 launch is said to happen in the second half of 2021, probably in May, as per the leak. The device will have the next-generation selfie camera quad-curved display and a six rear camera system, which is being assumed to be an April Fool’s day joke.

ivo NEX 5 will run on the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The device will come with a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED panel with an under-display selfie camera and another with a hole-punch camera. It will be a first of its kind to offer a selfie camera under the display. It’s going to be a 32MP selfie camera module, same for both models.
Vivo NEX 5 is said to feature two 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensors at the back, one as a primary sensor, and the other one as an ultra-wide-angle lens. Vivo’s Gimbal stabilization and optical image stabilization (OIS) are expected as well.
Vivo NEX 5 will be backed by a 4,500mah battery, said to come with 66W on one and another one will have 120W fast charging. Both the devices will have 60W wireless charging support.
