Celerio
The Maruti Suzuki works with the new generation of the Celerio hatchback. It has not received a major update since its first launch on the Indian soil. Celerio’s 2021 design will be further promoted unlike the current Celerio model. Celerio was least expensive car to offer AMT transmission. The new Celerio will come out with a 1.0-liter petrol engine naturally producing 67 PS of maximum power and 90 Nm of torque. The engine will be equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT. There is also a possibility that Maruti Suzuki will introduce the S-CNG variant of the hatchback. There are rumours that 2021 Celerio model will be launched in April this 2021.
Alto 800
As per reports, Alto 800 is in the works and it has been codenamed as Y0M. It is expected to be the cheapest vehicle by the manufacturer. It will be powered by 800cc petrol mill that powers current Alto800. The engine produces 48 PS max power and a peak torque of 69Nm. It will offer 5-speed manual gearbox and it will also come with S-CNG where the engine will produce 41 PS and 60 Nm power and torque respectively. The new model of Alto 800 is expected to launch during the festivals of 2021.
XL5
The XL5 is a premium version of WagonR. This model has hatchback retains on its tall body design. The new interior is equipped with better materials and features. It will be sold through Nexa dealerships. It is expected to enter Indian markets in the 3rd quarter of 2021.
New Vitara Brezza
Maruti Suzuki is working on all-new generation of Vitara Brezza. Vitara Brezza comes with 6 airbags and thus it is a huge thing because till this time no Maruti Suzuki product came with 6 airbags. Powered by 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine, the engine produces power of 105PS and torque of 138 Nm. It will have a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 6 speed torque converter automatic gear box. The new model of Vitara Brezza is expected to hit the Indian soil by the end of 2021.
Jimny
Maruti Suzuki is testing Jimny with rear seats which will have more leg space than the current model of Jimny. Jimny will be powered by 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine and will offer a four-wheeler drive. It is expected to launch in India in June 2022.
Baleno-based compact-SUV
Maruti Suzuki is working on an affordable and compact model of SUV for Indian market. Since the launch of Vitara Brezza, its prices have gone up significantly. It has a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine that produces a power of 88 PS and a torque output of 113 Nm. The new SUV is expected to launch early next year.
S-Cross replacement
Maruti Suzuki is working with Toyota to develop new SUV which will be replacing the ageing S-Cross.The new SUV will be rebadged as Toyota just like Urban Cruiser and Glanza. The new SUV will be launched in 2022.
