OnePlus Band will come with a 24/7 Heart Rate sensor along with SpO2 Blood Saturation Monitoring. It’s going to be a major USP on the upcoming OnePlus wearable. The company has also been teasing it’s active Sleep Tracking feature on the OnePlus Band, and all the health data will be tracked on the OnePlus Health app, to be unveiled at the OnePlus Band launch.
Coming to display, OnePlus Band is touted to feature a 1.1-inch Touch AMOLED display.
OnePlus Band will come with a sizable battery offering upto 14 days of battery backup. OnePlus Band will have IP68 certification, waterproof up to 5ATM. There will be around 13 Exercise Modes on the Band including Outdoor Run, Cycling, Cricket, Pool Swim, Yoga, and more.
OnePlus Band vs Mi Band 5: Who Has The Edge?
As OnePlus Band, Mi Band 5 also comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED touch colour display. The Mi band uses Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and works with both iOS and Android devices. Mi Band 5 can run up to 14 days on a single charge, similar to the OnePlus Band.
The Mi Band 5 has a magnetic charging mechanism, a similar one is expected on the OnePlus Band.
Mi Smart Band 5 offers up to 50M water resistance, same as OnePlus Band. Mi Band 5 has 11 new activity-tracking modes including indoor cycling, rowing, yoga, elliptical, and jump rope exercises. The Mi fitness band also comes with a new mode to track women’s health and menstrual cycle.
OnePlus Band has the edge here with the all-new SpO2 Blood Saturation Monitoring, a hyped out feature in the time of Coronavirus.
