Union Minister Assures E-Ticketing Website To Have All Features For Easy Use
As per the Union Minister Piyush Goyal, the e-ticketing website of the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, IRCTC, will have all the features that will ensure that people will be able to book their tickets with ease.
The improvement of the user personalization is what the Indian Railways is striving to provide along with the facilitation of the e-ticketing website. Additionally, the national transporter wants to provide improved features and a simple design. The Indian Railways has issued an official press release sharing all the details.
As per reports, the upgradation work for this e-ticketing system is being reviewed by the Union Minister of Railways Industry and Commerce.
New Emphasis On Improving Traveling Convenience And Ticket Booking Experience
The release also states that a new emphasis is being placed on improving the experience of booking tickets for the customers and enhancing traveling conveniences as well.
As per reports, “Under the new digital India, more and more people are now moving towards booking the tickets online rather than going to the reservation counters and therefore IRCTC website needs to really double its efforts to constantly upgrade itself.”
The minister is of the opinion that the IRCTC website should be the first contact point for travelling citizens. He is insistent that the experience should be friendly and convenient.
