Airtel Offering Free 1GB Of Data, Free Calls To Inactive Users
In case there is any inactive user of Airtel, then they are getting free 1GB of data, along with free incoming and outgoing calls.
As per a report by OnlyTech, inactive Airtel users are getting SMS notifications which mention the offers.
However, there is a catch here.
Free 1GB Data By Airtel: The Catch
The offer of free 1GB and free outgoing calls is valid only for 3 days, from the time this SMS is sent.
Hence, if a user gets the message on August 12th, then the free 1GB and free calls will be valid only till August 15th.
And, there is more.
The inactive user will be required to first recharge their inactive plans with any ‘unlimited’ plan to get the free 1GB of data.
In case there is no active unlimited plan, the free 1GB plan won’t get active.

Why Airtel Is Doing This?
The obvious reason is that Airtel wants the inactive users to recharge their numbers, and get back into their network.
Hence, the free 1GB offer is a goodwill gesture by Airtel, as an incentive to get back into their network.
Note here, that not every inactive user is getting the SMS to get free 1GB data.
Based on the account history, spending patterns and more, the Airtel is providing this offer to selected users.
