Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Kia Motors Leading the Automotive Market In India!

Maruti Suzukiā€™s combined domestic sales saw the company have a  1.8% growth in July 2020. The growth can be cited with its 3 cars in the top positions in the sales charts.

The Swift hatchback beat it’s tough competitor till now, Hyundai Grand i10 by a pretty wide margin.

Maruti Dzire is the best-selling sedan in July 2020.

Hyundai Creta, launched in March 2020, is the companyā€™s best SUV and the best selling model for the three consecutive months now. The five seater SUV amassed more than 55,000 bookings. Moreover, around 20,000 units were delivered after four months of its launch.

Kia Motors, a South-Korean company, is foraying into the automotive market with its newly launched Kia Seltos among the top 10 best selling car models.

However, even with the pandemic, the overall volumes showed a very minimal negative year on year (YoY) growth as most of the top manufacturers performed well including Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Kia and Renault.
