Redmi phone with MediaTek Dimensity 800 is in the works. Xiaomi will unveil a new Redmi device with the all-new Dimensity 800 chipset under the hood. Redmi H specs have been earlier leaked on Weibo which confirmed the SoC.
While Xiaomi is yet to announce Redmi H officially, the leaks hint at the Redmi smartphone being in the development phase.
The Dimensity 800 5G chip is developed on a 7nm manufacturing process. The Redmi 5G phone with Dimensity 800 could be called Redmi H1, and it will come with a 48MP primary camera with a 60Hz display.

Redmi phone with just launched 5G MediaTek Dimensity 800 in the works. Xiaomi will unveil a new Redmi device with the all-new Dimensity 800 chipset under the hood. The Dimensity 800 is a mid-range chipset from MediaTek developed on a 7nm manufacturing process.
Dimensity 800 5G packs 4x Cortex-A76 CPUs and 4x Cortex-A55 CPUs clocked at 2GHz.
The upcoming Redmi 5G device may become the most affordable 5G smartphone.
As previously leaked, the first smartphone under Redmi H series is probably going to be Redmi H1, and the Dimensity 800 5G SoC will power it. Redmi H1 will come with a 48MP primary camera with a 60Hz Full HD+ display with refresh rates up to 90Hz.
Redmi H Series, Redmi H1: What You Need To Know
As leaked on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, Redmi H specs show some interesting features. It’s going to be a new series under Redmi, and the first Redmi H smartphone is said to be based on an all-new platform with some top-end features backing it.
The leaked list includes the brand new Dimensity chip from MediaTek.
The first smartphone under Redmi H series is probably going to be Redmi H1, and the Dimensity 800 5G SoC will power it. The new Dimensity 800 5G supports 5G with two carrier aggregation (2CC CA) for 30% wider high speed layer coverage.
Redmi H1 is going to be a 5G phone running on Dimensity 800 5G. Dimensity 800 supports up to 64MP cameras, so the ISP can handle processing of 64MP images, or large multi-camera options.
The Weibo post reveals that Redmi H1 will come with a 48MP primary camera with a 60Hz display. Dimensity 800 series supports Full HD+ displays with refresh rates up to 90Hz.
Redmi H1 Launch, Price: Coming Soon?
The first Redmi H smartphone, Redmi H1 will be based on the all-new Dimensity platform with top-end specs. The availability of 5G does push the price up the ladder, but again there’s a 48MP primary camera and 60Hz display.
Redmi H1 price may lie somewhere between 14,000 to 20,000, given it’s launched with 5G.
These are just leaks, so it’s still yet to be confirmed. Redmi H1 was missing in the last Xiaomi device list leak as well. So, it’s better to take this with a pinch of salt, rest, we will keep updating you.
