Realme U2 India launch could be happening soon as a new Realme device has received the regulatory BIS certification in the country. Realme smartwatch has also been certified alongside, will launch soon in India, maybe with Narzo series.

Realme U2 India Launch Soon, Realme Smartwatch Receives BIS Certification

Two new Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX2002 and RMX2086 have been certified in Indonesia. 

Realme RMX2086 has already received the BIS certification in the country, and the RMX2002 is tipped to be the Realme U2.

Realme Smartwatch was spotted in the last #AskMadhav episode, which gave us a glimpse of how the watch would look. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth was wearing the upcoming Realme Smartwatch with a square-shaped design.

New Realme Device Listed: Realme U2 India Launch Soon? 

Two new Realme smartphones with model numbers RMX2002 and RMX2086 have been certified in Indonesia.  Realme RMX2086 has already received the BIS certification in the country, and the RMX2002 is tipped to be the Realme U2.

The next generation Realme U smartphone will see a few minor upgrades.

Being a selfie-centric series as the Redmi Y series from Xiaomi, the device will take on the latest Redmi Y3 with a super front camera.

The processor also will see an upgrade. Realme U1 currently runs on MediaTek Helio P70 12nm chip, the same chip which also now powers Realme 3.

The design will be more like the new Realme 3 with a Realme branding at the back vertically. 

It’s going to be a polycarbonate body with a gradient finish and the same water-drop notch display. 

The current Realme U1 comes with a 3,500mAh battery. At the back, the smartphone now comes with a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with 2-megapixel secondary sensor. Both the rear camera and battery will see an upgrade.

Finally, coming to the Realme U2 price in India, it is expected to be around 10,000 to 12,000 rupees. It will probably launch at the same price as its predecessor’s older pricing, though recent GST price hike may affect Realme U2 pricing in India.

Realme Smartwatch: What You Need To Know

Realme Smartwatch was spotted in the last #AskMadhav episode, which gave us a glimpse of how the watch would look. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth was wearing the upcoming Realme Smartwatch with a square-shaped design.

Realme smartwatch have received the BIS certification, and it will launch soon in India, maybe with the upcoming Realme Narzo series.

For a minute, you may also mistake it for the Apple Watch. The upcoming smartwatch will be available in multiple colour options, but in the video, we see a black body along with a black silicone strap.

The UI isn’t yet spotted, but it’s expected that the Realme smartwatch will be powered by Google WearOS with an additional skin on top.

We are yet to know how the Realme smartwatch screen will look, the bezels around and what’s the exact size. Though, Realme Smartwatch highly resembles the much-popular Apple Watch.

The company also CEO didn’t reveal anything in terms of specifications or features. We can expect it to be in line with the other smartwatches currently available in the market as Honor MagicWatch 2 or Galaxy Watch. 

Realme Smartwatch Price, Launch: To Cost Under Rs 10,000?

Realme Smartwatch expected price in India is said to be under the Rs 10,000 bracket. The company has always been reasonable about pricing it’s products, and similarly the Realme Smartwatch price is expected to be in the affordable smartwatch category.

The Realme Smartwatch price will probably fall in between Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000, which may further vary between sizes.

Realme recently cancelled the new Narzo series launch amid the 21-day nationwide lockdown in India. Realme Narzo 10 series launch may happen post-lockdown, which may also include the Realme Smartwatch, probably in May.
