Redmi K30 Pro has been spotted online and it has been confirmed to be running on the latest Qualcomm flagship chip: Snapdragon 865. The Redmi flagship will come with 8GB RAM, and is expected to hit the market really soon.
Redmi K30, the first K30 smartphone of the series was unveiled in December.
Redmi K30 Pro Geekbench listing confirms that the K20 Pro successor will run on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Redmi K30 Pro will come with 8GB RAM as standard, so the base model of K30 Pro will start with 8GB RAM.

Redmi K30 Pro has been spotted on some benchmarking site for the first time. While the company is all set to unveil the flagship premium of the year, the Mi 10 series, the Redmi K30 Pro has also been spotted at the same time.
Interestingly, both Mi 10 and Redmi K30 Pro will come with same processor: Snapdragon 865.
The Mi 10 will primarily target the flagship market, while Redmi K30 Pro will focus on the entry premium flagship market.
Redmi K30 Pro GeekBench listing reveals Snapdragon 865 along with 8GB RAM as standard. The 8GB RAM as standard means the base model will start with 8GB RAM on-board, with variants with more RAM, probably upto 12GB.
The Redmi device is still being tested, and the high-performance cores are disabled for test now.
Redmi K30 Pro is going to come with multiple upgrades over the current Redmi K20 Pro as 120Hz display, faster 48W charging system, 64MP quad camera system (powered by Sony IMX686 sensor), frosted glass body and a new design.
Previously, Redmi K20 Pro toppled OnePlus 7 back then to become the fastest Android smartphone. Something similar is expected again with Redmi K30 Pro. We will have the official scores later once the power-efficient cores are enabled for test.

The company has officially confirmed that it will soon be bringing a new phone with the Snapdragon 765G.
The Redmi K30 5G has been certified by BIS in India as well.
Redmi K30 Pro launch in India won’t happen before May or June, the same period when Redmi K20 Pro arrived last year. Unlike Redmi K20 series, the standard Redmi K30 will launch in India earlier this year.

Redmi will keep up with the same pricing strategy as Redmi K20 series. The company will continue to target the entry premium flagship segment, and Redmi K30 Pro will be priced under Rs 30,000 in India.
Redmi K30 Pro price in India is expected to start at Rs 26,999 or Rs 27,999.
Xiaomi will try to target the upcoming OnePlus 8 smartphones with Redmi K30 Pro in India.
Redmi K30 Pro price in China and India will vary, while the variants are expected to remain the same. The base model will come with standard 8GB RAM, expected to go upto 12GB, with base storage probably to be fixed at 128GB.
