[Breaking] Redmi K30, Redmi K30 Pro Leaked: Specs, India Launch, Pricing, Availability
The much sought-after Redmi K30 series has been finally leaked. The first K30 smartphone was recently teased officially, but now the Redmi K30 Pro has been leaked as well. Successors to the Redmi K20 smartphones, the K30 devices is coming very soon.
As a first, Redmi K30 series will be ditching the pop-up sensors for punch-hole display designs.
The Redmi K20 Pro is currently the most affordable Snapdragon 855 smartphone in India.
As per the leaked reports, Redmi K30 Pro will have a different design technology with some improved internals. The major difference between the two Redmi K30 smartphones is going to be terms of the design language. Redmi K30 Pro will come with a curved-edge waterfall design.

Earlier Redmi K30 Pro was rumoured to come with Snapdragon 855 Plus while the Redmi K30 with another Snapdragon flagship chipset. But the new renders show that both the Redmi K30 models will come with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.
Qualcomm has already announced the new generation flagship chip, but is yet to officially unveil Snapdragon 865. It’s going to be an upgraded version of the current Snapdragon 855 series.
Redmi K30 smartphones will be 5G ready out of the box and Snapdragon 865 chipset has the latest Snapdragon X55 baseband to support the 5G modes connectivity. Redmi K30 smartphones with X55 can support both NSA and SA dual-mode 5G connectivity.
Redmi K30 Pro will have the best of the features and hardware including a memory setup of upto 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage.
Redmi K30 is supposed to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen inside a punch-hole capsule shaped design. It’s going to be a 19.5:9 screen offering a screen resolution up to 2K. Redmi K30 will feature a 90Hz refresh rate display to offer the latest display technology.
Redmi K30 will have a dual selfie setup inside the capsule punch-hole featuring a 36MP primary selfie shooter coupled with a 26MP secondary camera. At the back, both Redmi K30 and the Redmi K30 Pro will come with a quad-camera system powered by the 64MP shooter.
Redmi K30 will come with a 64MP primary camera coupled with a 28MP secondary sensor. The other two sensors will include a 18MP and 8MP sensors.
Both the K30 smartphones will support OIS and EIS with up to 30x digital zoom and ultra wide angle lenses. Finally coming to the battery, Redmi K30 will have a massive built-in 4,800 mAh battery. A similar sized unit is also expected on Redmi K30 Pro. Both the Redmi K30 devices will support up to 65W fast charge.
Redmi K30, Redmi K30 Pro India Launch: To Come In India With 5G?
Redmi K30 smartphones will come with 5G support, but the 5G models may only remain exclusive to China. Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro is going to be the first smartphones under the separated Redmi brand to have 5G support.
Currently the Redmi K20 smartphones in India comes with standard 4G connectivity.
Xiaomi haven’t revealed the Redmi K30 series India launch timeline, but it’s expected in early 2020.
The company will be upgrading the current Redmi K20 series really quick to take on the growing competition. Realme is also launching two new flagships in the entry-level premium segment: Realme X2 and Relame X2 Pro, and the Redmi K30 series may stand as a perfect competition.
K30 Series: Redmi K30 India Price, Redmi K30 Price In India
The Redmi K20 landed in India only a few months back, and the devices are doing pretty well after the recent price cuts. Redmi K30 series India launch may take some time, but it should be coming to India at around the same pricing as the current Redmi K20 series.
The company hasn’t yet revealed anything by far, and we need to wait to have the official details.
Redmi K30 India price is expected around the sub-20,000 category, while Redmi K30 Pro India price will touch the entry-premium 30,000-segment. Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro is now selling at a permanent discounted prices of Rs 19,999 and Rs 24,999.
