Redmi K30 To Feature OnePlus 7T Like Design: Top Features Leaked Including Launch Details
The Redmi K30 design has been leaked online, and the prototype matches the current OnePlus 7T circular camera design. The upcoming Redmi flagship will feature a similar design as the new OnePlus 7T with a quad camera system in a circular shaped module.
Redmi K30 will also be featuring a 120Hz display, recently confirmed.
Tipped to arrive in December, the upcoming Redmi K30 will come with a punch-hole display design and 64MP powered quad camera system. Apart from the 64MP quad camera, Redmi K30 will also sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead of an in-display fingerprint sensor as the predecessor.

Redmi K30 In OnePlus 7T Design: Redmi K30 To Feature OnePlus 7T Like Circular Camera Module
The OnePlus 7T like design on Redmi K30 was leaked on Twitter. The tweet claims that the upcoming Redmi K30 design will feature a similar circular camera module as OnePlus 7T. The OnePlus 7T features three cameras horizontally, while Redmi K30 will have four cameras stacked vertically.
Redmi K30 will feature a quad camera system powered by a primary 64MP Samsung sensor.
The design will remain largely similar as OnePlus 7T at the back inside glass sandwich body. The device will house four sensors with a 64MP main sensor. Recently Huawei also unveiled the Mate 30 series with similar circular shaped camera modules.
Redmi K30 will sport a circular camera bump at the centre, according to the prototype leaked. Previously some rumours suggested a 108MP powered penta camera system as Mi Note 10, but this report dismisses all those reports.
The new leak again confirms that Redmi K30 will sport a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which is in line with the previous XDA leak. The device will go official in a month, and Redmi K30 will don a new circular shaped camera module design, first for any Xiaomi smartphone.
Redmi K30 120Hz Display: Redmi K30 To Come With 120Hz Display
The recent leak by XDA Developers confirms that the upcoming Redmi K30 will come with the much-hyped 120Hz display. The parent company has already been leaked a number of times to be working on a 120Hz display, and it may debut with the Redmi K30.
Redmi K30 will have the best of the features and hardware including a memory setup of upto 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage.
Redmi K30 Pro either may feature a 90Hz refresh rate display or a higher rated display to offer the latest display technology, which is being rumoured to the 120Hz display. There will be an option to switch between 60Hz standard and higher display refresh rate.
Redmi K30 100W Charging Support: Redmi K30 To Support 100W Super Charge Turbo?
Finally coming to the battery, Redmi K30 has already been leaked to feature a massive 4,800 mAh battery. A similar sized unit is also expected on Redmi K30 Pro, probably a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery would be packed inside the Pro model.
Previously it was leaked that both the Redmi K30 devices will support up to 65W fast charging technology.
There has been a few reports that Redmi K30 may come with the Xiaomi 100W super charge turbo support. The new 100W super charge turbo technology can fully charge Redmi Note 8 in just 17 minutes, a 4,000mAh battery.
Xiaomi hasn’t yet revealed which smartphones will come with the 100W super charge turbo technology, but the Redmi K30 smartphones are expected to be the first.
The Xiaomi 100W super charge turbo tech will directly take on Vivo’s upcoming 120W ultra fast charging technology. The 100W super charge turbo tech offers high-voltage charge pump bundled with 9-fold charge protection.
Redmi K30 To Feature Side Mounted Fingerprint Sensor
The XDA report also confirmed that Redmi K30 will ditch the in-display fingerprint sensor. The previous generation Redmi K20 series came with in-display fingerprint sensors, but the Redmi K30 will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead.
It’s going to be very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10E smartphone.
If it’s true, Redmi K30 is going the first Xiaomi phone to come with a side mounted fingerprint sensor. The side mounted fingerprint sensor may remain exclusive to Redmi K30 only and the K30 Pro will feature the same in-display fingerprint sensor.
Redmi K30 To Come With Snapdragon 735, 5G Connectivity?
Earlier Redmi K30 Pro was rumoured to come with Snapdragon 855 Plus while the Redmi K30 with another Snapdragon flagship chipset. But the other renders show that both the Redmi K30 models will come with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.
Qualcomm has already announced the new generation flagship chip and Snapdragon 865 will launch on December 3.
The US chip-maker previously confirmed that they will bring in an affordable Snapdragon 700-series 5G supported chip, probably Snapdragon 735 SoC. Redmi K30 may also debut with the same Snapdragon 735 supporting 5G connectivity.
It’s going to be an upgraded version of the current Snapdragon 855 chipset series.
Redmi K30 smartphones will be 5G ready out of the box. Snapdragon 865 chipset has the latest Snapdragon X55 baseband to support the 5G modes connectivity. Redmi K30 with X55 can support both NSA and SA dual-mode 5G connectivity.
Redmi K30 Quad Camera Setup, Redmi K30 64MP Circular Camera
Redmi K30 will come with a dual selfie setup inside a capsule sized punch-hole cutout featuring a 36MP primary selfie shooter coupled with a 26MP secondary camera. The leaked design reveals a OnePlus 7T like circular module with four cameras.
At the back, both Redmi K30 will come with a quad-camera system powered by the 64MP shooter.
Previously, Redmi K30 was leaked to come with a 64MP primary camera coupled with a 28MP secondary sensor.
The other two sensors on Redmi K30 based on the quad camera leak reveal a 18MP and an 8MP sensors. K30 Pro will support OIS and EIS with up to 30x digital zoom and ultra wide angle lenses. The new prototype leak confirms a four camera setup, hence it throws away all the K30 penta camera reports.
Redmi K30 India Launch, Redmi K30 Launch In India
Redmi K30 smartphones will come with 5G support, but the 5G models may only remain exclusive to China. Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro is going to be the first smartphones under the separated Redmi brand to have 5G support.
Currently the Redmi K20 smartphones in India comes with standard 4G connectivity.

Coming to Redmi K30 India launch, Xiaomi India haven’t yet revealed anything as of now. Redmi K30 India launch is expected in early 2020.
The company will be upgrading the current Redmi K20 series really quick to take on the growing competition.
Realme has already unveiled a new entry-level premium flagship Relame X2 Pro under 30,000 category to take on Redmi K20 Pro and others in the segment. The new Redmi K30 series will help Xiaomi to throw in more competition with fresh new features.
Redmi K30 India Price, Redmi K30 Price In India
The Redmi K20 landed in India only a few months back, and the devices are doing pretty well after the recent price cuts. Redmi K30 series India launch may take some time, but it should be coming to India at around the same pricing as the current Redmi K20 series.

Redmi K30 India price is expected around the sub-20,000 category, while Redmi K30 Pro India price will touch the entry-premium 30,000-segment. Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro is now selling at a permanent discounted prices of Rs 19,999 and Rs 25,999.
