Netflix To Stop Its Services For Devices Starting December 1, 2019

There is a possibility that you might see a message on your Netflix that says: Due to technical limitations, Netflix will no longer be available on this device after December 1st, 2019. Please visit netflix.com/compatibledevices for a list of available devices.

Netflix revealed that the message means that “due to technical limitations, your device will no longer be able to stream Netflix after the specified date. This message will appear multiple times before the specified date as a reminder. To continue streaming, you’ll need to switch to a compatible device prior to that date.”

The site has also included a link wherein you can see all the devices that are compatible to Netflix, and the rest will no longer be able to avail the benefits of Netflix.

Apparently, these devices are not compatible with Netflix as they lack the capability to display Netflix’s feature-rich interface.

Roku 2000C, Roku 2050X, Roku 2100X, Roku HD, Roku SD, Roku XD and Roku XR are some devices of Roku that will no longer be open to Netflix.

A spokesperson of the company said that only the first two Roku models will be the only ones to lose Netflix support.

Popular electronics manufacturer, Samsung has declared that those who have 2010 and 2011 made Smart TVs with C or D after the screen size in the model code, will also no longer be available to stream Netflix on their devices from December 1, 2019.

You can simply buy a Netflix streaming device dongle, such as the Google Chromecast, a Roku device, or an Amazon Fire TV device. You also don’t have to worry about the costs of these, as they come at quite reasonable and affordable rates.
