AltBalaji Has 2.3 Crore Paid Users Now

Meanwhile OTT player AltBalaji, from Balaji Telefilms has claimed that now 2.3 crore users pay them to access their content.

This was revealed during the announcement of the financial results of the company.

AltBalaji has reported a massive increase of 71% revenues: From Rs 8.04 crore in Q2, their revenues have now reached to Rs 13.76 crore in Q3 of FY2019.

They added total of 81 lakh new paid members, during the last quarter, which makes total paid subscribers as of now to 2.3 crore.

They have quoted App Annie data to claim #3 spot in the OTT ranking in India, behind Hotstar and Netflix.

But this claim is debatable, as  Voot and Amazo Prime has much more paid subscribers, compared to AltBalaji.
