Redmi K20, K20 Pro Will Be Launched In India; Xiaomi India Head Almost Confirms This!
Xiaomi India and the Managing Director of the company, Manu Kumar Jain, have literally been ‘teasing’ the upcoming launch of the company’s latest flagship.
Thankfully, putting an end to the piquing curiosity of the fans that was stretched over multiple weeks, the MD has finally spoken about the flagship that will be unveiled by Xiaomi.
As revealed by Manu Kumar Jain’s tweet, the notorious device will be none other than Redmi K20. Also, the phone is coming to India as well!
The phone has managed to create an impressive amount of mystery, and initial speculations talked about the phone being called Redmi X.
A Subtle Announcement by Manu Kumar Jain
While initially the device was called Redmi X, it was later confirmed that the name of the SD 855 powered flagship would be Redmi K20 and K20 Pro.
Xiaomi India’s Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain has declared the launch via a tweet. His tweet says, “Congratulations @OnePlus team! ? There’s a new flagship in town. Flagship Killer 2.0: coming soon.. Hold my dragon!”
Attached to the tweet is a picture which congratulates OnePlus on the recent launch of its flagship phones. The content on the image is the way Jain has chosen to declare the launch of the K20 device.
The image goes, “Congratulations, OnePlus! We heard about your new flagship…Regards Flagship Killer 2.0.” The content, subtle, and yet very clear, highlights that the next flagship by Xiaomi is going to be Redmi K20.
Manu Kumar Jain has also managed to kick off multiple rumors and confusion about a device with a 48 MP camera would be Poco F2, Redmi S Series or Mi A3. Redmi K20 Pro, however, has not been confirmed, and it might turn out to be the successor to Poco F1, Poco F2
Specs and Features of the Redmi K20 Pro
The phone has been making the rounds of the internet for its Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and that has been highlighted in the image in Manu Kumar Jain’s tweet as well.
Redmi K20 is rumored to come with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display, a pop-up selfie camera as well of 20 MP, and a 48 MP rear camera with a triple camera unit. It is said to be functioning on the Android Q version, and a Sony IMX586 sensor has also been confirmed.
The battery of the Redmi K20 is said to be of 4000 mAh and will come with a whopping 27 W fast charging.
