OnePlus has finally officially confirmed that there’s a OnePlus 7 Pro in the pipeline, all set to launch on May 14. The last teaser though already confirmed that the company will unveil a new OnePlus 7 series comprising of more than a handset.
Now, OnePlus have shared a new image teasing the tri-camera setup, and its the Pro variant.
OnePlus will launch two smartphones: OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro at the event on May 14. The company either may have a separate handset with 5G support or the Pro variant will come with 5G functionalities out of the box.
A new leak also revealed the key details of the upcoming smartphone including the expected pricing.
OnePlus 7 Pro Triple Camera Setup Teased: Camera Specs Leaked
The company shared a teaser of the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro confirming the presence of three cameras at the back. The tweet has an image of the OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone kept upside down revealing the rear three-camera setup.
The smartphone for long has been teased with a rear triple camera setup.
Now with the image from the official handle, we can confirm it’s coming with the triple camera setup.
Though, the regular OnePlus 7 variant will come with a dual rear camera system, and not the tri-camera setup as its bigger brother, the Pro model.
The OnePlus 7 Pro triple camera setup is vertically aligned in the middle, the same old camera placement.
According to the rumours, OnePlus 7 Pro will come with a primary 48-megapixel sensor, expected to be the Sony IMX 586 sensor. It will pair with a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.

OnePlus 7 Pro is said to sport an 6.7-inch Super AMOLED curved display with Quad HD+ resolution and a smooth refresh rate of 90 Hz to offer an enhanced viewing experience. It will have a screen resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels in an 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
There’s no physical fingerprint sensor, so the in-display fingerprint sensor from OnePlus 6T will be continued, maybe this time it’s an optical one.
On top, the smartphone is expected to come with a pop-up selfie camera housing a 32MP sensor.
With Snapdragon 855 under the hood, the phone will come with 5G support and the latest Oxygen OS running on Android Q (priority access). The storage variants will differ between 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.
There are going to be three OnePlus 7 Pro variants: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.
It will come with 40W Warp fast charge support and a 4,000mAh larger battery.
OnePlus 7 Pro India Price: OnePlus 7 Pro Expected Price
The OnePlus 7 Pro 8GB RAM model pricing has been recently leaked. The smartphone is said to cost $749 (around Rs 52,000) in the European market. The top end 12GB will cost $819 (around Rs 57,000).
Even CEO Pete Lau replied to a question on Weibo saying 5,000 Yuan would be enough for the OnePlus 7 Pro. It converts to around 52,000 INR.
The base 6GB RAM OnePlus 7 Pro model in India should cost somewhere around 50,000 rupees. The official pricing is still unknown, but in India, the pricing of the Pro model should stand at somewhere in the Rs 50,000 line.
The leaked prices are for the European market, so the OnePlus 7 Pro India pricing will differ.
OnePlus will unveil the OnePlus 7 series in India on May 14 at a special event in Bengaluru. Both the OnePlus 7 smartphones will be available exclusively via Amazon India.
