Mi Mix 4 is coming soon?
Xiaomi is known to experiment with their Mi MIX smartphones. Just like its predecessors, the fourth generation Mi MIX 4 smartphone won’t be any different.
A new leak is out hinting a foldable body and 60MP rear camera.
The smartphone was leaked on Alipay’s smartphone rental page. Four devices were listed and Mi MIX 4 was a part of the list donning a foldable display.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that Mi MIX 4 is in the works.
The last Mi MIX 3 smartphone came with a sliding display to offer a bezel-free experience running on 10GB RAM with support for 5G.
The latest Mi MIX iteration will take the level of innovation a notch up with a foldable display (rumoured).

Mi MIX 4: Foldable Display & New Technology
Xiaomi has already confirmed that it is working on a foldable smartphone. The dual-fold display has been claimed to be first of its kind with a price half of what Samsung Galaxy Fold costs. The same folding display has been leaked again.
While it’s still a rumour, but Xiaomi is known to experiment with Mi MIX series smartphones for innovation.
So there are chances that the company may actually launch Mi MIX 4 with a foldable display, or the fourth generation Mi MIX smartphone could be Xiaomi’s first foldable display smartphone.
Till now, only two companies have claimed to commercially launch their foldable smartphones: Huawei and Samsung. Galaxy Fold and Mate X both being foldable smartphones uses different technologies to offer a tablet-smartphone hybrid experience.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi foldable smartphone, the display uses a two-fold technology. Unlike Galaxy Fold and Mate X, it has to be folded from either sides to be used as a smartphone and again has to be unfolded twice to used as a tablet.
First Xiaomi Smartphone To Come With 60MP Camera: Report
Just like it’s foldable display, the smartphone has also been reported to feature a 60MP rear camera. We are yet to know how this works, but this can either be a total megapixel count of the all the cameras or a single primary 60MP shooter on a snapshot mode.
The 60MP camera will come with different features and added AI properties.
It will come with all the latest features and specs like Snapdragon 855, 5G support and more.
Mi MIX cameras has been good, so Mi MIX 4 may follow the same route. Xiaomi has used MIX series to offer something new and innovative everytime, and it’s has been its experiment series lineup.
Xiaomi’s first foldable smartphone could be introduced in the Mi MIX series and the foldable display for the Mi MIX 4 won’t be a surprise.
Mi MIX 4 Price & Launch: What You Need To Know
The first Xiaomi foldable smartphone is rumoured launch in the second half of 2019. Also, the earlier reports suggested that the Xiaomi foldable smartphone could cost half of Samsung’s Galaxy Fold base price.
And if this Mi MIX 4, the pricing is expected to be around 80,000 INR to 1,00,000 INR.
It may never come to India, but you have options to get it with international shipping.
So, if Mi MIX 4 and Xiaomi’s first foldable smartphone are same, the global launch expected to happen in the second half of 2019.
