So, Realme 3 finally has a launch date. After the tremendous in the country, the company is all set to bring it’s the sixth smartphone to the country, the successor to its second generation Realme 2, the Realme 3.
Realme has confirmed the Realme 3 launch for March 4.
Xiaomi is launching it’s Redmi Note 7 chip on February 28, and Realme will launch its latest smartphone three days later. Interestingly, Samsung will also be launching its third Galaxy M smartphone, the Galaxy M30 on February 27.
So, there’s a lot to happen over the next two weeks in the country.
Realme 3 Launch Date Out: Will Go Official On March 4
The official Realme 3 launch date it out. Set to bring in a host of new features, the upcoming Realme smartphone is expected to be an upgrade over the current Realme 2. As per the latest reports, Realme 3 will come with the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset.
It’s the same chip which powers the current Realme U1, the selfie-starrer from Realme.
The MediaTek Helio P70 is the successor to the Helio P60 chip, which powers smartphones like Oppo F9 Pro and Realme 1. MediaTek Helio P70 on Realme U1 previously outperformed top smartphones like Honor 8X with Kirin 710 SoC and Redmi Note 6 Pro with Snapdragon 636 chip.
Realme also gives out hints of a new design for the upcoming Realme 3. The teaser poster has a hinge of stars suggesting a new stardust-like pattern at the back.
Realme 3 will launch on March 4 in New Delhi at 12 pm. You can catch the event live on the company’s official YouTube channel. Realme 3 will succeed last year’s Realme 2, which launched back in August.

The upcoming Realme 3 will come with an all-new updated design language and hardware. The company has already confirmed that the Realme 3 will come with the MediaTek Helio P70 chip. The smartphone will offer 40 percent lower power consumption and 30 per cent fast download speeds with the new SoC.
Even if compared to Realme 2 Pro, the upcoming Realme 3 with Helio P70 will offer 3 per cent better multi-core CPU performance compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660.
Realme also hinted at a new design for the Realme 3 in the teaser poster. It has an array of stars, suggesting a stardust-like finish on the back. Till now, the company has been offering smartphones with a diamond-cut design built out of polycarbonate.

The recent price cuts and discounts hint sub-10,000 pricing for the upcoming Realme 3. Now with the Helio P70 being confirmed, you can definitely expect the device to cost around the current Realme U1.
Realme 2 Pro and Realme U1 both has been given permanent price cuts. Both smartphones now cost 1,000 cheaper.
As far as the Realme 3 price is concerned, it’s going to be somewhere around Helio P70-powered Realme U1. The starting price of Realme 3 is expected around Rs 9,999 or near to it. Â Realme 3 will launch as an online and offline product due to the latest FDI rules. Realme smartphones are now available offline via Reliance stores as well.
Realme will also be launching its own exclusive experience stores across the country in the second half of 2019.
