Tata Unleashes A Stunning New Electric Car Concept: Avinya! Interesting Facts You Should Know (Launch Date?)

Tata Motors has introduced its new electric SUV concept Avinya, which is also the debut of the company’s latest Gen 3 platform.

There will be a range of multiple EV body styles including SUVs and crossovers, that will be based on the new ‘Pure EV Gen 3’ platform.

Tata Motors Launches New EV Concept: Avinya

Tata Motors’s new concept “Avinya” is a Sanskrit word and it means innovation. The car maker plans to offer several segment-first tech and elements in this new EV. The concept also marked the debut of TPEML’s new brand logo, which shows an LED bar along the width of the model at the front and back and a T in the centre. 

TPEML is Tata Motors’ new EV brand – Tata Passenger Electric Mobility.

The concept mirrors Tata Harrier to an extent, with a more fancy style. It shows a fusion of SUV and MPV body styles, similar to the Audi Urbansphere concept. Tata Motors also has a three-platform strategy that will cover all segments in the EV space by 2030. 

As per Tata’s blog, “The AVINYA concept stands for empathetic mobility, a machine that is engineered to be smart, spacious, sustainable yet techy. The agile and robust Pure EV GEN 3 Architecture offers this concept with a flexible design while boasting of next generation connectivity, advanced driver assistance systems and enhanced performance and efficiency.”

The concept is reportedly screen-less in order to put an end to distractions inside the car and also create a no-stress environment for the mind and soul. The carmaker has also promised generation connectivity, advanced driver assistance systems and enhanced performance and efficiency.

There will be butterfly doors on the car and a panoramic roof as well. The car will have a driving range of more than 500 km and a charge time of 30 minutes with the help of a DC fast charger.

We had earlier reported that Tata Motors is all set to unveil a new car on April 29, 2022, and this new model will be completely electric.
