Ten Days Quarantine For Travelers
To our relief, this tracking device will not tighten the norms for visitors from India as the UAE makes you wear the bracelet for the 10-day quarantine, as per the sources.
Apart from this tracking device, the air passengers will have to undergo an RT-PCR test on the fourth day and then the eighth day.
Once the results come negative then they can take off the bracelet and are free to travel anywhere inside the UAE.
During the quarantine period, the movement of such passengers is limited between the hotel and the airport without coming into close contact with persons of the community, according to the GCAA quarantine rules.
So far, the UAE has extended travel restrictions from India till July 6 in lieu of increasing COVID-19 cases.Â
Limited Numbers Of passengers Allowed
Prior to this, the UAE has imposed a travel ban since April 25 as the second wave of pandemic hit in India.
In the same tune, Air India Express and the Emirates have also suspended passenger flights from India till July 6, 2021.
