Updated, Revamped Kia Seltos Will Launch In April This Year: What’s New?
Kia Corporation is a multinational automobile manufacturer that entered the Indian market in July 2019. Kia made a grand debut in India by launching the first Kia car in India, i.e. Kia Seltos SUV. It is set to receive its second set of feature update and the new model will reportedly become available for retail in the country starting late next month. Seltos caters to a wide spectrum of customers and gradually it emerged as the bestselling SUV in the country.
The Kia Seltos will be the first product from the Korean brand to get its new logo in India.
The first formal offering in India appears to be due for an update now.
How Did Kia Seltos Whoosed Past Every Other SUV?
The Kia Seltos midsize SUV and the Kia Sonet compact SUV will be the first Kia models to display the latest logo in India. By the middle of 2021, both SUVs are scheduled to ditch the old logo in favour of the new one.
Since its launch in September last year, the Sonet has made a name for itself in India’s burgeoning compact SUV segment, while the Seltos, Kia’s first model was the country’s second best-selling SUV in 2020.
Kia gives a mix of many styling elements and shapes. This is an SUV that comes with a wide variety of engine and transmission options, an expansive list of features and, prices ranging between Rs 9.89 lakh and Rs 17.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it covers a wide range of price points.
Earlier Kookhyun Shim, MD and CEO at Kia Motors India said “The Seltos marked the arrival of the Kia brand in India. It laid a strong foundation for Kia in the country and as a vehicle; it has been a true game-changer in the Indian automobile industry,” he said. “The refreshed Seltos is the result of a deep understanding of the Indian automotive market, and our customers’ desires and requirements, and we are confident it will continue to win hearts for Kia in India.”
Kia Seltos SUV Is Set To Receive Its Second Set Of Feature Update
A panoramic sunroof is also planned to be included in the Kia Seltos. We expect Kia Motors India to include this feature in the new Seltos, particularly because its main competitor, the Hyundai Creta, already has it.
The new logo will be the other significant update on the new Kia Seltos 2021 SUV.
Mostly the forthcoming Kia SUV will continue to be available with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
