Micromax 5G phone India launch soon under IN series mobiles. The company announced the IN series in November 2020, and now the Indian smartphone company is planning to expand the portfolio with a 5G mobile phone launch. While India is embracing to commercially launch 5G services, companies are bringing in more budget phones offering 5G connectivity.
Co-founder Rahul Sharma confirmed an upcoming 5G phone by Micromax in the latest YouTube Q&A episode of ‘Let’s Talk INdia Ke Liye’.
While not much about the Micromax 5G phone is out, the device is expected to be an affordable offering that could be powered by a budget 5G MediaTek chipset. Also, Micromax IN Note 1 Android 11 update will soon be available.
Micromax In Note 1 new update added EIS and RAW mode to the camera, portrait mode has been improved for the selfie camera and included with the January security patch.
Previously unnamed Micromax phone with model number E7748 was spotted on hthe Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site. Micromax In Note 1 had model number E7746, so the E7748 was speculated to be either Micromax Note 1 Pro or Micromax Note 2.
Micromax’s co-founder Rahul Sharma earlier confirmed the company is working on a new phone, speculated Micromax In Note 2 or Micromax In Note 1 Pro.
Sharma also briefed about the upcoming plans of Micromax in India alongside a few problems faced by In Note 1 users.
The company is working on high refresh rate and liquid cooling in India for the next smartphone under the same In series, expected to In Note 1 Pro. Sharma also confirmed that Micromax would start selling the new In-series phones offline in the country soon: Micromax In Note 1 and Micromax In 1B.

The upcoming Micromax new mid-range device will pack a decent set of top of the line specifications, speculated Micromax In Note 2 or Micromax In Note 1 Pro. Co-founder Rahul Sharma said at an older virtual session that Micromax is developing a new 6GB RAM smartphone with liquid cooling system, higher screen refresh rate and better processor.
While it is yet to be confirmed whether it will be a variant of the Micromax In Note 1, the early reports hint at being Micromax In Note 1 Pro. Do note, the Micromax In Note 1 comes in 4GB RAM models with 64GB and 128GB storage options.
Apart from the 6GB RAM, the expected Micromax In Note 1 Pro is hinted to feature liquid cooling along with higher refresh rate. The next Micromax In-series phone is set to get a few major upgrades. We will also get to see a better processor along with improved camera, battery and fast charging capabilities. Micromax In Note 1 is currently available via Flipkart and Micromax online store.
