iPhone 12 Mini Price, Specs: Which iPhone 12 Models Will Launch In October?

iPhone 12 Mini is coming this year, a smaller sized iPhone with all the latest features and software on-board. A new iPhone SE? It does sound like a miniature version of the top iPhone model with the latest specs on-board. Apple will launch four new iPhone models under the upcoming iPhone 12 series, but there is said to be an additional surprise, the iPhone 12 Mini.

A report is doing the rounds leaking a new iPhone model, to be called iPhone Mini.

Apple will launch the new iPhone 12 series in October and they will come with the new A14 Bionic chip and better cameras. Also, the next generation iPhones 12 models could be manufactured here in India as per Economic Times. It is said to cost cheaper than the recent OnePlus 8 and also the predecessor, iPhone 11. 

iPhone 12 series will start at $649 (around Rs 49,220), which is lesser than the $699 iPhone 11 price tag.

iPhone 12 Mini: iPhone Mini New Series?

A fresh iPhone leak suggests that the smallest iPhone in the series will be called the iPhone 12 Mini. The report leaked by an anonymous tipster revealed that the iPhone 12 with the 5.4-inch variant is most likely to be called iPhone 12 Mini. While nothing concrete is up yet, take that with a pinch of salt.

Currently, the smallest screen on the current iPhone 11 series is the 5.8-inch screen on the iPhone 11 Pro. But the reports of a smaller 5.4-inch iPhone 12 has already been leaked on multiple occasions.

The upcoming 5.4-inch model will be much smaller in the hand, probably as the older generation compact sized iPhones or the recent iPhone SE 2020. The 5.4-inch iPhone 12 variant will probably be called iPhone 12 Mini if we go by the rumours. iPhone 12 will stay in the middle while iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be at the high-end.

Apple is expected to launch four new iPhones under the iPhone 12 series which would include two premium variants: iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Starting with the base model, the Apple iPhone 12 will come with a 5.4-inch OLED Super Retina display. iPhone 12 will be available in three different storage variants: 4GB RAM, 128GB and 256GB models. The upcoming iPhone 12 will be powered by the latest Apple A14 chipset.

It will support 5G with a dual camera system at the back. iPhone 12 price will start at $649. The 128GB iPhone 12 will cost $649 (around Rs 49,200) and 256GB iPhone 12 will cost $749 (around Rs 56,800).

The next in the series, the Apple iPhone 12 Max will feature a larger 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina display screen with similar specifications as iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 Max will also be available in two storage models: 128GB and 256GB versions.

The base iPhone 12 Max with 128GB storage will cost $749 (around Rs 56,800) and the 256GB iPhone 12 Max will cost $849 (around Rs 64,400).

Moving up, the iPhone 12 Pro will come with a 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display with 10-bit colour depth, manufactured by Samsung. Apple iPhone 13 Pro will be powered by Apple Bionic A14 chipset, 6GB RAM and will be available in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage models. iPhone 12 Pro will feature a Stainless Steel body with 5G support and Triple rear cameras with LiDAR.

iPhone 12 Pro 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models will cost $999 (around Rs 75,700), $1,099 (around Rs 83,300) and $1,299 (around Rs 98,500) respectively.

The top-end iPhone 12 model of the series, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature a 6.7-inch Samsung OLED Super Retina XDR display with 10-bit colour depth with similar features as iPhone 12 Pro. It will also be available with 6GB RAM in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. iPhone 12 Pro Max will also feature a Stainless Steel body, 5G support and Triple rear cameras with LiDAR.

iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models will cost $1,099 (around Rs 83,300), $1,199 (around Rs 90,900) and $1,399 (around Rs 1,06,000) respectively.
