Redmi 9i is coming to India soon to take on budget killers as Nokia C3 and Realme C12. Redmi 9 Prime was recently launched in India with the device going on sale just yesterday. The other budget smartphone in the line-up will be called Redmi 9i, expected to be a rebranded Redmi 9A, already unveiled globally.
Redmi 98 price will start between Rs 7,999 to Rs 8,999 for the base model.
Redmi 9i launch will happen soon. Xiaomi may announce Redmi 9i as a part of the Redmi 9 series in the mid-budget section.
Popular tipster Ishan Agarwal confirmed the Redmi 9i launch for Pricebaba. Key Redmi 9i specifications have been leaked out including key details such as RAM, storage and color variants. Redmi 9i, is expected to be a rebranded Redmi 9A for India.

Redmi 9i may come to India as a rebranded Redmi 9A. The leaked report suggests a new Redmi 9 variant is soon coming to India with 4GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. Redmi 9i specs are expected to be same as the Redmi 9A.
Redmi 9i will feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and with at HD+ resolution. Under the hood Redmi 9i will be powered by the Helio G25 chipset running on Android 10 based on the latest MIUI 12 OS.
The single rear camera is a 13-megapixel sensor. Upfront, Redmi 9i will come with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The device will be backed by a 5,000mah battery with support for some form of fast charging. It will be available in three colour options: Nature Green, Sea Blue and Midnight Black.
Redmi 9i price in India may start at Rs 7,999 in India for the base model where the other Redmi 9i variant may cost Rs 8,999.
