Air India Reduces Air Fare From US, Canada By Upto 45%; 9 New Flights From Sharjah To India
Air India has faced backlash due to over-charging passengers under Vande Bharat flights from US and Canada to India.
Due to this reason, the air fares have been slashed now, with upto 45% difference.
Meawhile 9 new flights have been announced for Sharjah to India.

Air India Slashes Air Fare Under Vande Bharat
For Vande Bharat repatriation flight tickets from US and Canada to India, Air India has slashed the air fares by upto 45%.
This was done after Air India faced severe criticism over the high aor fares.
Here are the new air fares from US/Canada
New York to Delhi flight will now cost Rs 75,461, which was earlier being charged Rs 1,07,000.
Toronto to Delhi flight will now cost Rs 75,321, which was earlier charged Rs 1,37,000.
Note here, that all International flights have been canceled till July 31st, but special flights are allowed to bring back migrant workers and NRIs stuck in US and Canada under Vande Bharat program.
Interestingly, the air fares have been reduced, despite high demand and less number of flights.
The Phase 4 of Vande Bharat has only 30 flights between US and India, while Phase 3 had 90 flights.
Phase 4 started from July 3 and will continue till July 15th.
It seems that Air India has implemented some operational changes, which has resulted in reduction of air fares.

9 New Flights From Sharjah To India
Meanwhile Air India Express has announced 9 new flights from Sharjah to India, and has already started from July 3rd.
These flights will from Sharjah to Madurai, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram, Tiruchirappalli, Kochi and Hyderabad.
All Indians registered with Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi or the Consulate-General of India in Dubai can book these flights from www.airindiaexpress.in or any authorized travel agents.
