On Thursday night, Mukesh Ambani’s telecom company launched its video conferencing app with little fanfare.
Yesterday, Reliance Jio officially launched its JioMeet video conferencing service on Google Play Store and App Store.
Finally, Reliance Jio has released its first new product, after a nonstop streak of funding updates.
Further, according to the company, this product is an answer to Zoom, also entering the circle against Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other popular video conferencing tools.
What Are The Features Supported By JioMeet?
Prior to this, some of users were using the beta version of the HD conferencing app for over a month now.
But now, it has been rolled out with a stable release on Android and iPhones’ application stores, according to media reports.
According to the frequently asked questions (FAQ) page on the JioMeet website, JioMeet conferencing app can support up to 100 participants at once, on top of that, there are no codes or invites required for initiating the call.
In case if a user wants to join from the desktop version of the app, by clicking on JioMeet invite link and join from your browser without even downloading the application.
Apart from these features, the app includes scheduling meetings, sharing screens with each other and more.
