OnePlus Z launch date has been tipped to be in July. Expected as the OnePlus 8 Lite, the OnePlus Z launch will happen in July according to tipster Max J. OnePlus hasn’t yet confirmed anything as of now, but there has been multiple leaks about the development.
Recently OnePlus Z live images were leaked revealing the complete design.
OnePlus Z will come with a triple camera running on MediaTek Dimensity 1000L SoC. OnePlus Z will primarily target the sub-25,000 category in the country.
Leaked by Slashleaks, the live images show us a punch-hole display upfront. Tipster Ishan Agarwal previously estimated OnePlus Z to start at Rs 37,500 (converted), expected to come at under Rs 30,000 in India.

OnePlus Z is going to be the affordable variant of the current OnePlus 8. The company’s first ‘Lite’ model will primarily focus in the mid-range segment. The company did experiment with such one model in early years, remember OnePlus X?
The rumours hint at being the successor, so the upcoming OnePlus device could be called OnePlus Z. Some also tip it to be OnePlus 8 Lite, but the company itself hasn’t eyr dropped in any light to it.
As far as the leaks go, OnePlus Z will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display offering a 90Hz refresh rate with a punch-hole on top middle.
OnePlus Z will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000L SoC with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage.
The device will run on Android 10 out of the box with OxygenOS. OnePlus Z will come with a triple camera setup at the back.
OnePlus Z will feature a 48-megapixel main lens, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, the OnePlus Z will have a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor, the whole system backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.

OnePlus Z launch is said to be happening in July, so it’s just a few weeks away. Again, it’s a tip, so do take it with a pinch of salt. The live images were recently leaked as well, so thus it hints at an imminent launch though.
It’s for the very first time that OnePlus will launch a different model of its series, and for now, we can expect the OnePlus Z launch in July, or sometime in the same period, preferably mid of 2020.
