Poco has officially confirmed that the next Poco smartphone won’t be called Poco F2. The ex-Xiaomi sub-brand will be releasing the Poco F1 successor very soon, and it will be called Poco X2. Poco X2 launch will happen on February 4

Poco will continue to use the services by Xiaomi as the customized MIUI.
The next Poco phones will have its own interface with the Poco launcher installed. Poco will also use the other Xiaomi services as well as the Mi service centers, selling points, distribution and other channels.
Poco X2 Price: Next Poco Smartphone To Launch Under 20,000?
The next Poco smartphone will target the mid-range market primarily and to some extent the entry-premium market. With Redmi K20 Pro already there to handle the market there, the next Poco smartphone may focus under 20,000 segment only.
Poco F1 continues to sell, and it’s still doing fairly well in the sub-15,000 category.
Some hint at Poco X2 to be launched as a remodelled Redmi K30 4G. The Redmi K20 is available under 20,000, and the next Poco phone may succeed the category.
Poco X2 price will fall in the mid-range category, expected under 20,000 to take on other smartphones in the category as Realme X2, Vivo V15 and Oppo F15. The smartphone will launch soon, probably by the end of the quarter.

Poco has been separated by Xiaomi to be established as an independent brand. Unveiled in 2017, Poco brand was a part of Xiaomi India. But starting in 2019, Poco will operate independently from now like previously separated Redmi.
Xiaomi first separated Redmi to fight against Realme, it wasn’t a bad decision.
Since early 2018, Redmi haa been doing very well. It again tried to compete against OnePlus with Poco as well, and now it will probably focus on it more.
Instead of sharing the teaser directly, Poco chose to officially confirm Poco X2 in a cryptically teased video. The name the video confirms Poco F2 via its twitter handle.
With no phones launched by Poco brand since August 2017, this move aims at a more strategic approach. Poco is set to embark on the new journey as an independent brand, and has officially confirmed a new Poco phone via the video.
Poco X2 Specs, Features: The Geekbench Leak Details, Redmi K30?
The upcoming Poco X2 was spotted online to be running on the latest Android 10 OS, powered by a 1.80GHz octa-core SoC. The processor has been codenamed “phoenixin” and Poco X2 packs 8GB of RAM.
On Geekbench, Poco X2 has been able to score 547 points in the single-core test and 1,767 points in the multi-core test.
The listing reveals data of Poco X2 which match up information with the features of Redmi K30. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, many have already claiming that Poco X2 may launch in India as a remodelled Redmi K30.
Xiaomi India has already given the Redmi K30 4G a green signal, and very recently the Redmi K30 5G model has also passed the BIS certification, hinting at an imminent launch in India.
The company may choose to bring Redmi K30 5G separately, while the Redmi K30 4G model may come to India as Poco X2, a successor to the current Poco F1.
Coming to the Poco X2 specs, it could be a remodelled Redmi K30. Poco X2 will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display in an 20:9 aspect ratio sporting a bezel-less display. Poco X2 will feature a rear quad camera setup.
Upfront, Poco X2 will have the dual selfie camera setup inside the capsule shaped punch-hole.
Poco X2 will run on the latest Android 10 with MIUI 11 out-of-the-box enabled with customised Poco Launcher. Poco X2 will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging tech, with the 30W fast charger in the box.
