Vivo S1 Pro With 48 MP Camera Launching On January 4th In India; Can Be Priced Rs 22,000!
Bringing in good news from the smartphone sector to you, Vivo S1 Pro smartphone is all set to launch in India on January 4. It will not only be available on the online platforms but also go on sale from key retail stores across the country after its launch.
Vivo S1 Pro Finally Sets Foot in India
Mumbai-based offline retailer, Mahesh Telecom has confirmed that Vivo S1 Pro smartphone will soon be available for purchase through offline channels. This phone was initially launched in Philippines last month.
Speaking of online availability of this phone, Amazon India published a teaser for the Vivo S1 Pro features a 6.38-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. on its website, indicating that it will be one of the e-retailers to carry the phone. Amazon.in has set up a dedicated page to tease the arrival of the Vivo S1 Pro, according to which, the phone will have a diamond-shaped quad camera setup at the back with a 48-megapixel main sensor.
The launch date is mentioned on Vivo’s twitter profile’s header image, followed by a promotional page on the company’s website. The Amazon teaser also flaunted a 32-megapixel selfie camera, along with an AI super-wide camera and an AI macro camera.
Vivo S1 Pro was launched in two colour variants in Philippines – Fancy Sky and Knight Black. However, according to a recent report, the phone will launch in India in three colors – Blue, Black, and White. The Indian variant of Vivo S1 Pro will support NFC as well.
The Vivo S1 Pro Philippine variant was priced at PHP 15,999 (roughly Rs. 22,500) and we can expect the Indian variant to be priced in the same range.

If the India variant is identical to the Philippines variant, then it would sport a waterdrop-notch up front, in-display fingerprint sensor, and gradient back panel finish.
Vivo S1 Pro features a 6.38-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset and 8GB of RAM.
The internal storage of the device is 128 GB and it can be expanded to up to 256 GB via microSD card. In terms of camera, the smartphone has a diamond-shaped quad rear camera setup with 48-megapixel as a primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On front, there is a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The smartphone is driven by a 4500mAh battery which supports upto 18W fast charging. Connectivity options are Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, dual-band WiFi, and dual-SIM support.
