Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro Promo Out: Four Camera Setup, Official Design, Full Specs, Price, India Launch
While Realme 5 series is soaring high, Redmi is prepping up to take the game to the next level. The new Realme 5 smartphones became the first in the country to come with rear quad camera systems at a budget. Xiaomi on the other hand is all set to take up the budget challenge against Realme one notch further with Redmi Note 8 series.
Just like Realme 5 series, Redmi Note 8 series will come with quad-camera setup systems.
Redmi Note 7 series turned out to be a massive hit in the country, especially Redmi Note 7 Pro. Xiaomi will like to continue with the reigning success, and embrace the new four camera challenge in the budget smartphone industry. With the official promo video out now, the Redmi Note 8 series launch seems only a few weeks away.
Redmi Note 8 Series Official Promo Out: Toned Down Redmi K20 Smartphones?
The official promo video of Redmi Note 8 series shows a similar design as the recently launched Redmi K20 series. As confirmed earlier, the promo again confirms the quad-camera setup on the back panel on Redmi Note 8 series. Previously the White version of the Redmi Note 8 series was leaked, and now the green colour variant has been revealed.
Redmi Note 8 series will initially include two budget smartphones, a regular Note 8 and the Note 8 Pro.
There will be other colour options as well for both the upcoming smartphones under Redmi Note 8 series. As the current Note 7 series, Redmi Note 8 series will again come with a similar glass sandwich body, expected to be the same Gorilla Glass 5.
The Redmi Note 8 series smartphones will feature a vertically aligned triple camera module in the middle of the back panel as Redmi K20 series smartphones. The fourth rear camera of the Redmi Note 8 smartphones will sit on the right side of the triple camera bump, as the newly launched Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ along with an LED flash.
Redmi Note 8 Series Specs: MediaTek Processor, Quad Camera System, 64MP Cameras
MediaTek has officially confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 8 series will be powered by the newly launched powerful gaming chipset, the Helio G90T. Currently the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7S and the Note 7S are powered by Snapdragon 660, whereas the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with the much-powerful Snapdragon 675 chipset.
The promo video shows that the Redmi Note 8 series will not come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. So, the Redmi Note 8 series devices will include an in-display fingerprint sensor and that means it’s going to be an AMOLED panel. Xiaomi recently unveiled Mi A3 with an AMOLED panel and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It’s going to be the first-time ever for a Redmi Note series phone to come with an AMOLED panel and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The company has already confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro is going to be the first phone from the company to come with the much-hyped 64MP camera sensor.
Redmi Note 8 Pro will use Samsung 64MP GM sensor along with three additional sensors: ultra wide-angle sensor, maco sensor and depth sensor for dedicated portraits. Upfront, the Redmi Note 8 series smartphones will retain the Dot drop notch similar to the Redmi Note 7 series. The pop-up sensors are expected to remain exclusive to the K20 series for Xiaomi in India.
