With just a couple of weeks after the launch of Realme X, the company is now gearing up to unveil its next smartphone in the country. Already been teased several times, Realme is now finally bringing the first 64MP smartphone to the country. It’s also the first four-camera smartphone from Realme.
Redmi is also planning to launch its own 64MP camera phone, which may arrive in a few weeks.
The Realme 64MP camera phone will launch in India first, and then in other global markets. Already the camera samples are out, and it’s a four camera setup at the back. The company will hold a special Camera Innovation Event on August 8 at the capital city to unveil the upcoming quad camera technology.
Realme 64MP Camera Phone India Launch: Camera Innovation Event On August 8
The company will hold a special Camera Innovation Event on August 8 in New Delhi. Realme will probably be showcasing some of its upcoming camera innovations including some of the existing cutting-edge camera technologies. Most importantly, it will talk about its upcoming 64MP quad camera technology on a smartphone.
Also, the Realme 64MP camera smartphone is going to be the world’s first device to come with a rear four-camera technology.
Realme shared the official teaser on its Twitter handle with an image featuring the 64MP quad camera module. The company hasn’t yet confirmed when the 64MP camera Realme smartphone will launch in India, but the event hints at an imminent launch in the country.
The next Realme smartphone is going to be the 64MP camera phone. The event is scheduled on August 8, where Realme will be showcasing the upcoming camera 64MP quad technology, and the actual 64MP camera smartphone India launch will happen later.
World’s First 64MP Camera Smartphone: Realme 64MP Quad Camera Phone
Coming to the name, we don’t know what’s going to be the Realme 64MP smartphone called. Some of the leaks suggested Realme 5 Pro, but it seems unlikely. There’s no information available as of now. The company didn’t share anything about what the 64MP quad camera phone is going to be called.
Recently, some reports also hinted at Realme X Pro. The company has confirmed a flagship previously, and the same device could be Realme X Pro with Snapdragon 855 and rear quad camera system.
Currently, Realme X comes with a 48MP dual camera system with the Sony IMX 586 sensor. Realme doesn’t have a triple camera smartphone till now, and will directly be jumping into a quad camera system with its upcoming 64MP camera device. We will get to know more about it at the Camera Innovation Event on August 8.
The other specs are not yet been confirmed, but it either could be Snapdragon 730 or a Snapdragon 855 chipset. If it’s actually Realme X Pro, the company will be directly challenging the newly launched Redmi K20 Pro at around Rs 25,000. If the device comes with Snapdragon 730, then it will take on the regular Redmi K20 in the sub-20,000 space.
