The next generation Qualcomm flagship chip, the upcoming Snapdragon 865 will come in two variants. The Snapdragon 855 was also launched in two variants, one with the 5G modem, and one not. Snapdragon 865 will also follow the same path, one for 5G devices and one for normal flagships.
The last flagship chip came out in December last year, and the successor will also go official during the same time this year.
Galaxy S11 is going to be the first smartphone to be available with Snapdragon 865 chipset.
Among the additions, it will see some improvements including LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage option. The chipset will be manufactured using the 7 nm ultra-violet (EUV) process along with a 5G modem for one of the chips.

OnePlus 8
The next generation regular OnePlus 8 would run on the upcoming Snapdragon 865 chip. The company will again be bringing in two variants, and the regular OnePlus 8 model will run on the next generation Qualcomm flagship chip.
OnePlus 8 Pro
The OnePlus 7 Pro successor, the next premium flagship killer would use the upcoming Qualcomm top-end Snapdragon 865 for its next, OnePlus 8 Pro. The company is known to use the latest Snapdragon chips, and the OnePlus 8 series won’t be any different.
Samsung Galaxy S11, Galaxy S11 Pro
The upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones, the eleventh generation Galaxy S11 would come with the new Snapdragon 865 chip. This will be the same for both Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11 Plus, and will only be applicable to US and some other markets.
Google Pixel 5
While the internet giant is yet to launch the Pixel 3 successor, it’s pretty sure the company would use this Snapdragon chip for the Pixel device next year. The Pixel 4 series will run on Snapdragon 855, but the Pixel 5 series will come the Snapdragon 865 chips.
Poco F3
While Xiaomi is yet to throw some light on the second generation Poco F2, we can safely assume that the third Pocophone will run on the latest generation Qualcomm flagship chip, the Snapdragon 865. The Poco F3 will launch a year later, probably in the middle of 2020.
Redmi K30 Pro / Mi 10T Pro
Xiaomi has separated the Redmi brand and its latest flagship series, the Redmi K smartphones will continue to happen. Redmi K30 and rebranded Mi 10T Pro would happen next year, and both the smartphones will run on the Snapdragon 865 chips.
Asus 7Z / Asus Zenfone 7
The next generation Asus flagship, the Zenfone 6 successor will run on the latest Snapdragon 865 chip. The Zenfone 7 will launch in India as Asus 7Z due to the recent naming debacle. The Asus 6Z successor, Asus 7Z will run on the upcoming Snapdragon 865.
Xiaomi Mi 10
The next Mi series flagship, the Mi 9 successor will come with latest processor during the first quarter in 2020. Xiaomi Mi 10 will run on Snapdragon 865, the upcoming flagship chip from Qualcomm.
Samsung Galaxy Note 11, Note 11 Pro
Samsung is gearing up to launch the tenth-edition Note 10 in August and will be adding up a Pro model this year, Note 10 Pro with a few better features. The next Galaxy Note 11 11 and Galaxy Note 11 Plus will run Snapdragon 865 chip in the US and some other markets.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3
The gaming beast from Xiaomi, the next generation Black Shark will run on the latest Snapdragon 865 processor. Currently Xiaomi Black Shark 2 runs on Snapdragon 855 with upto 12GB of RAM, and certainly the next Black Shark 3 will run on the more powerful Snapdragon 865 chip.
