Samsung Galaxy M40 India Launch To Happen Soon: Specs, Price, Availability
After a successful run with the new youth-oriented Galaxy M series, Samsung is now all set to add another smartphone to the hit series, Galaxy M40. The South Korean tech giant lately has been taking up its Chinese counterparts really seriously, and M and A series are the live examples.
The company will also be adding another smartphone to its other recently added hit Galaxy A series as well.
The much-hyped Samsung Galaxy M40 will take up the challenge against the upcoming Realme X and Redmi K20 from Xiaomi.
Samsung may launch Galaxy M40 and Galaxy A10S in India in a few weeks, probably by end of June. The additional budget-oriented Galaxy A10S will be a minor upgrade over the current Galaxy A10 with a few add-on features.
Samsung Galaxy M40: What’s In The Box This Time?
Samsung did really well in the budget and upper budget segment with its Galaxy M series, and the company plans to cash in the success with another smartphone in the mid-range category. Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30 sits perfectly in the sub-10,000 and sub-15,000 category.
The Galaxy M40 will now target the sub-20,000 category to take on the upcoming competition against Realme X and standard Redmi K20.
Galaxy M40 will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display in three color options: Black, Blue and Orange.
The company will offer an optical in-display fingerprint sensor within the display with a rear three camera setup expected at the back.
Currently, the Galaxy M30 comes with a three camera setup with an additional ultrawide lens.
The Galaxy M40 will run on Snapdragon 675 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. It’s the same 11nm chip which powers the current Redmi Note 7 Pro. Galaxy M40 will house a massive 5,000mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging.
The company is yet to confirm any other specs. The standard connectivity features like dual SIM support with 4G VoLTE and other add-ons will remain the same including the company One UI OS based on Android 9 Pie.
Galaxy M40 Price In India: When Will Galaxy M40 Launch In India?
The recent rumours hint at an imminent launch. The smartphone has been leaked previously on a number of occasions. Samsung Galaxy M40 India launch may happen in late June, or probably in early July.
The company is yet to officially confirm the Galaxy M40 India launch, but the leaks do suggest a near launch.
Coming to the Galaxy M40 India price, the smartphone will be priced somewhere between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000. The company will hit the sub-25,000 segment with Galaxy M40 to take on the future competitors from Xiaomi and Realme.

The upgraded Galaxy A10S may launch alongside Galaxy M40. A new Samsung model SM-A107 was recently spotted, expected to the be the Galaxy A10S. The smartphone will launch in Blue, Green and Black colours in the country.
Serial tipster Ishan Agarwal recently tweeted that Samsung is also working on a number of upgrades over the current best selling phones, which includes: Galaxy A20S, Galaxy A30S and Galaxy M30S.
Coming back to Galaxy A10S, the Geekbench listing reveals that Galaxy A10S will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chip paired with 2GB of RAM running on Android 9 Pie with Samsung’s own OneUI on top.
The budget Samsung smartphone will come at a price under Rs 10,000 with a few minor upgrades including a few features.
