India’s First Foldable Phone Launch Confirmed, Galaxy S10 Leaked In Full
Excitement and hype about Samsung's foldable phone has reached its peak now.
According to the latest leak coming in, India will get its first foldable soon in the first half of 2019. Samsung will be launching its first Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone in the country in the top-end category.
It will use the recently unveiled foldable display technology from Samsung.
Also, the next generation Samsung Galaxy S10 has been leaked in full glory. The new leak has revealed some key specifications of the smartphone, which includes a punch-hole display housing the front camera, thin bezels with a slight chin down under.
India’s First Foldable Phone Launch: Samsung Galaxy Fold
Samsung will launch the first foldable smartphone in India. Samsung is also reportedly working with Google to optimize the Android features for its new foldable smartphone technology. Google is working on to enable all apps to be optimized for the upcoming foldable technology.
Samsung Fold will come in an entirely new Android interface that will be specifically optimized by Google. It will make the foldable smartphone adapt to the newer display.
Samsung Fold can be used as a conventional smartphone when folded into a smaller display panel, and as a large tablet when you unfold it. Samsung Galaxy Fold reportedly will feature dual batteries where each half of the foldable device will sport a battery.
Some of the reports even hint at Galaxy Fold may have a total battery capacity of up to as high as 6,000mAh. The foldable technology is said to be a power consuming feature, so the higher battery count probably would be necessary considering the demanding nature of the smartphone.

The Samsung Foldable phone India price may more than some of the costliest iPhones. The new technology is costly, and hence the pricing will be on the higher side only. Samsung Fold may actually be the most expensive Samsung smartphone ever. Samsung Galaxy Fold India Price could be around $2,000.
So, the Samsung Foldable phone India price may stand somewhere around Rs 1,50,000. Also, Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available in limited numbers as well.
Galaxy S10 Completely Leaked: Punch Hole Display & Other Features
The special 10th-anniversary edition Samsung Galaxy S10 will come with the Infinity-O punch-hole display, like we saw on Huawei Nova 4 and Honor V20. The punch hold up front will house in the in-display front camera. The leaked pictures also show thin bezels on all the sides with a slight bottom chin, little thicker than the other three sides.
Samsung Galaxy S10 will sport a 6.4-inch curved Super AMOLED display.
At the back, Samsung Galaxy S10 is expected to sport a triple rear camera offering a 12-megapixel wide-angle sensor, 12-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 16-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus may come with a dual front camera within the small punch-hole Infinity-O display design.
In terms of hardware, Samsung Galaxy S10 will use Exynos 9820 SoC (in India) or Snapdragon 855 SoC (US). The new Exynos 9820 is built on an 8nm process offering a performance boost of upto 15 percent with an increased power efficiency of upto 40 per cent.
Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming MWC 2019 in February, with an imminent global launch including India by April.
