Xiaomi is finally bringing its much-awaited Mi 8 to India. The 8th-anniversary special edition Xiaomi Mi phone launched in China a couple of months back, and India has been eagerly waiting for Mi 8 since then.
As per a leaked report, the Xiaomi Mi 8 is coming to India next month and the flagship smartphone will be launched at a very aggressive price.
Interestingly Xiaomi is also launching its PocoPhone F1 on August 22 in India with almost-similar internals at a similar price point. The Mi 8 is going to be pitched against bestselling flagships OnePlus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z.

As per the leaked details, Xiaomi Mi 8 could be launching as early as next month. The company has an upcoming flagship launch on August 22, so it will be interesting to see how the company prices PocoPhone F1 and Mi 8 in the Indian market.
As both the smartphones are entry-premium flagships, Xiaomi will now have two new premium smartphones in the flagship segment.
Coming to the launch of Xiaomi Mi 8, we are expecting the device to launch in the country by the end of September or early October. The Xiaomi PocoPhone F1 is launching on August 22 at the national capital.

Another revelation of the report was its pricing. The Xiaomi Mi 8 will be priced very aggressively in the Indian market, somewhere between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000. Currently, the Xiaomi Mi flagship retails at a starting price of around Rs 28,000 (CNY 2,699) in its home market China.
The Xiaomi PocoPhone F1 is also expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 25,000, so we are expecting the Mi 8 to be priced between Asus Zenfone 5Z and OnePlus 6.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 pricing in India will be a major factor in pushing up the sales for Xiaomi, as already some of the great entry-premium flagships are available in the same price category.
Xiaomi Mi Televisions Will Be Available Offline | Mi TV Offline Availability
After raging a price war in the Indian television industry, the Chinese company is now all set to disrupt the offline TV market as well. Xiaomi will now sell televisions via brick-and-mortar stores at its aggressive pricing ranges.
The company will not charge higher in the offline market, capping the profit margin at 5 percent for its televisions.
The Mi Televisions will be available offline via Mi Home stores and selected Mi Preferred partners.
Currently, Xiaomi has three smart Mi TVs available in the country in the sizes of 32, 43 and 55 inches. After a price surge a couple of months back, the Xiaomi Mi televisions are now available at –
- Xiaomi 55 inch 4K smart TV costs Rs 44,999
- Xiaomi 43 inch smart TV costs Rs 22,999
- Xiaomi 32 inches costs Rs 13,999
Xiaomi has successfully been able to establish a new market for smart TVs in India with top features and aggressive online pricing. Thanks to Xiaomi, the smart TV industry in the country will see higher growth in the coming years.
The Mi Televisions will be available offline via Mi Home stores and Mi Preferred partners starting in November during Diwali.
