Xiaomi Beats OnePlus By Selling 1 Million Mi 8 Handsets in 18 Days!
Xiaomi vs OnePlus battle has now become even more interesting.
Recently OnePlus celebrated selling 1 million OnePlus 6 handsets globally, making it the fastest-selling OnePlus device ever. Last month, during the same time Xiaomi launched its much-awaited 8th anniversary flagship smartphone Mi 8 in China.
The bezel-less notched Mi 8 came with some top-flagship features boxed at an affordable price tag.
In the present day Xiaomi has beaten the OnePlus 6 flagship by selling 1 million units within a period of 18 days only. The sales achieved by OnePlus are global, and Xiaomi has has achieved this landmark feat by selling Mi 8 handsets in China only since it first went on sale on June 5.

Back in home in China, both  BBK-backed OnePlus (which also own Oppo and Vivo) and Xiaomi are big smartphone brands in a massive market like China. With one of the highest number of smartphone users in the world, China has among one of the biggest smartphone markets in the world.
OnePlus sold a million units of its latest flagship OnePlus 6 in 22 days, whereas Mi 8 has achieved the same feat in just 18 days, and that too by only selling in China. OnePlus 6 is already available globally.

Mi 8 vs OnePlus 6 – Price & India Launch
The price remains a deciding factor which has been an added advantage for Mi 8. With similar set of offerings as OnePlus 6, Mi 8 is priced lower than the OnePlus flagship. As per a report, Xiaomi will launch Mi 8 in India and other countries globally at similar prices as China next month.
In launched in India, Xiaomi Mi 8 flagship will give OnePlus 6 a tough fight in the country. Apart from Mi 8, the company is also expected to launch the cheaper Mi 8 SE and higher-end Mi 8 Explorer Edition as well.
