Lenovo K8 Plus Launches In India – One More Dual Camera Smartphone
Lenovo is following up the K8 Note with the K8 and K8 Plus.
After K8 Note, comes another budget mid-ranger from Lenovo – Lenovo K8 Plus.The Lenovo K8 has also launched, but not much of the details of K8 are available.
Both the budget phones come with stock Android and will be the new K8 series successors. Lenovo K8 will be available offline and Lenovo K8 Plus will be available exclusively on Flipkart.

Lenovo K8 Plus – Specifications And Features
Lenovo K8 Plus will feature a dual rear camera setup just like Lenovo K8 Note.
Design and Build
Lenovo K8 Plus has a metal build and feels sturdy in hand. The fingerprint scanner is located at the back of the phone below the camera.
Display
The smartphone sports a 5.2 inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. It is easily visible in sunlight, with a brightness rated at 450 nits.
Hardware
Lenovo K8 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor with four cores clocked at 1.69GHz, three cores clocked at 2.3GHz and one core clocked at 2.6GHz. It is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. A 4GB RAM variant called Lenovo K8 Plus Holiday Edition, will get a special launch during Diwali.
Software
As Lenovo announced earlier, they have ditched their Vibe UI for stock Android.The Lenovo K8 Plus will run stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box . The K8 Plus is expected to get Android 8.0 Oreo update in a few months time.
Camera
Lenovo K8 Plus has a dual camera setup on the back and which includes a 13.0-megapixel Purecel Plus sensor and a second 5 megapixel depth sensor for Bokeh effect. You can adjust the depth of field in real-time while composing the shot. Up front, it’s an 8.0-megapixel shooter with a ‘Party Flash‘ and an 84 degree wide-angle lens.
Internal Storage
The device will come with 32GB built-in storage, which can further be expanded up to 128GB with an external memory card. It provides a dedicated micro SD card slot.
Sim Support And Connectivity
K8 Plus supports two sims, and has 4G VoLTE support with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It sports a 3.5mm headphone jack with Micro-USB port which supports OTG. All major sensors are present in the device.
Battery
K8 plus houses a big 4000mAh battery which Lenovo claims can last for two full days of normal usage on a single charge.
TheaterMax and Dolby Atmos Support
This smartphone supports TheaterMax for better cinematic experience and also has Dolby Atmos audio support, for enhanced audio output.

The device will be available in two colour variants – Venom Black and Fine Gold.
Price And Availability
Lenovo K8 Plus has been priced at Rs. 10,999. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Sales start on Thursday, September 7, at 12pm IST.
