Booking an Uber through Snapdeal app or a bus ticket through RedBus on Snapdeal was known, but another company has come forward to partner with these two to integrate the journey even better.
Ixigo has tied-up with Uber and RedBus to allow its customers to book an Uber cab or bus on RedBus through its Ixigo trains app itself. This also provides all the three companies a lot of exposure in terms of clients and customers. Users do not require to install Uber or RedBus apps on their smartphones, they can book the vehicles directly from the Ixigo trains app.

It made sense to tie-up with Uber and RedBus to provide local travel arrangements to its customers, from the app itself. In fact, RedBus also provides alternate options for Ixigo travellers, who might feel comfortable travelling by a bus.
The best part about this tie-up is that the Ixigo trains app suggests you an Uber ride some time before your train journey, and as soon as you reach your destination, provided Uber is available in that city. If your train tickets have not been confirmed, the app suggests you bus tickets on the same route, automatically.
At the event, Manoj Agarwala, Vice President at RedBus said, “Train travellers often face frustration of being waitlisted, and buses are a common substitute for train travel in India. Ixigo’s market-leading train app will now offer comfortable bus seats with state and private bus operators across 70,000 bus routes in India.”
The companies are also extending special promotions for first time users of Uber and RedBus and this makes an excellent opportunity for the riders to take advantage of this technology. This will also allow customers to travel with minimum waste of time and money.
