Indian Tourism Ministry & Google+ Photos Partner For #IncredibleIndia Photography Competition

If you are a professional, amateur or even an aspiring photographer, you should not miss this chance. Indian Ministry of Tourism and Google have partnered together to create 6 week long #IncredibleIndia photography competition on Google+. The competition is part of Incredible India campaign to showcase the visual beauty of India through Google+ Photo stream.

Participating in the competition is simple – Photographers across the globe will need to post their pictures on their Google+ timeline with hashtag #IncredibleIndia. The photos will need to be “public” and should be posted on the home stream. These photos will then be curated and shared on a special landing page on google.com.

Indian Ministry of tourism will also be inviting 3 International photographers who will be made their privileged guests. The guests will get a week’s holiday (with travel & lodging expenses covered) to capture the destination of their choice as part of this Incredible India campaign. As for Indian photographers, whose pictures are selected will get similar trips that could be won each week.

Google+ photos is increasingly becoming preferred platform for photographers around the world to share their pictures. There are number of active photography communities where lot of photos are shared and discussed.
