Xiaomi Files Patent Document: Showcases Flagship Phone With Rounded Corners
The patent documentation reveals a Xiaomi smartphone with rounded corners. The front panel will come with a display that has rounded edges and corners, as well as curved bezels on the sides.
The selfie camera will be inscribed in the upper left corner.
The main camera is quite substantial and is a large main sensor. There also will be a smaller sensor and a zoom periscope below. There will also be an LED flash located at the very bottom of the phone. The set of sensors reveal that the phone will be of a flagship level.
There is no news of the launch of such a smartphone in the future.
As per reports, a design patent was filed by the Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software with The Hague International Design System, the industrial design database of the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) on September 25, 2020.
This documentation was made available recently and showed a new Xiaomi smartphone.
Xiaomi Flagship Phone: Triple Camera, 108 MP Main Camera
The screen is rounded more than that of the M11 series. The triple camera is available prominently in the centre of the housing. Additionally, a large main camera will also be available here. There is a possibility that this may be a 108 MP camera, as often used by Xiaomi.
Additionally, a relatively small round camera, (presumably with an ultra-wide-angle lens) and a rectangular-shaped periscopic telephoto zoom camera are visible. There will also be a flash available directly below it.
It is unusual that Xiaomi will place a large camera system in the middle of the device, as it would take up a lot of space. This is the main reason that a majority of manufacturers choose to place the camera in the top left. But Xiaomi and Redmi phones are available with a centrally located camera, such as the Redmi Note 9T.
