4 Upcoming Cars Priced Under Rs 12 Lakh That Are Eagerly Awaited (Starting Rs 4.5 Lakh)

Today, let’s look at four upcoming cars that will be under the Rs. 12 lakh price tag!
Tata Punch
Tata Punch is all set to be unveiled virtually on 4th October. The highly anticipated launch will compete against Altroz, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. Tata Punch XE MT base variant is expected to be priced from Rs 4.99 lakhs Punch XM could be priced at Rs 4.49 lakh, Punch XT is Rs 6.29 lakh, Punch AMT XTA is priced from Rs 6.99 lakh, Tata Punch XZ could be priced from Rs 7.49 lakh while Its top variant could cost Rs 7.69 lakh, and Tata Punch XZA AMT could come in at Rs 8.29 lakh. The Punch will come exclusively with a petrol engine which also powers the Tiago, Tigor and Altroz.
The 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine offers 86 hp power at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm torque at 3,300 rpm mated to a 5 speed manual and AMT automatic transmission.
MG Astor
It has many segment first features such as a personal AI assistant system and level 2 autonomous tech. It is also MG’s first production model to underpin the Concept-of-Car as a Platform (CAAP) software.
The Most Powerful Turbo-petrol Engine will likely be provided with 1.5L normally aspirated and 1.3L turbocharged petrol engines that produce 110 bhp and 144 Nm and 140 bhp and 220 Nm, respectively. The transmission will be handled by either a manual or automatic gearbox. There will be 8 variants of the sale, which are Style, Super, Smart Std., Smart, Sharp Std., Sharp, Savvy and Savvy Red. This car will reportedly be priced at Rs. 10 lakh and more.
Mahindra XUV700
The much-awaited Mahindra’s XUV700 was unveiled on August 14th, with price starting at Rs 11.99 lakh onwards. The bookings for these cars will begin on October 7. The SUV is also high on safety with features like front, side and curtain airbags, 360-degree camera, ISOFIX seat mounts, hill hold/descent function and electronic parking brake and Dynamic Stability Program (DSP) and a lot more. Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Maruti Suzuki Celerio is all set to launch its new second-gen model that has already been spotted testing on numerous occasions. The first-gen Maruti Suzuki Celerio was the most affordable automatic car to go on sale in the country when it was Launched back in 2014. The new Celerio is expected to be joined by the larger and more potent 83hp 1.2-litre K12 unit from the Wagon R. Along with this, the current BS6-compliant 1.0-liter three-cylinder K10 unit.
