Google is going to release Android 12 and almost took a year to announce that the older version like Android 2.3 or Android Gingerbread will have their Google accounts suspended.

Since the introduction of Android 2.3 Gingerbread in 2010, Google has indicated that Android devices running version 2.3.7 and older would no longer be able to sign in from September 27

Why These Google Apps Will No Longer Run In Android 2.3?

Google has strictly announced that apps like YouTube, Gmail, Google Maps apps will not run on the device having Android Gingerbread or Android 2.3. Though one can access these apps on a mobile browser, they won’t be able to access the app-only features on their device.

All older devices running that OS version will stop operating with these apps.

What If You Try To Log In To Your Android Smartphone With Android 2.3 OS?

When a person attempts to log in to their Android smartphone using the extremely old Android 2.3 OS, they will see an error message regarding the username and password.

Even if they try again, Google will give them the same error notice!

So what is the way to fix the problem?

The only way to fix the problem is to upgrade to a newer version of Android if one is available for the device.
