Xiaomi Launches Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro For Rs. 1799
Xiaomi’s Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro has been launched; which is an improved version of the previous product. As per reports, the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro and Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) have both been launched at Rs. 1,799 (~$25) and Rs. 2,499, respectively.
The wireless neckband earphones come with active noise cancellation (ANC), whereas, the wireless speaker comes with a two-driver setup with a rated output of 16W and IPX7 water resistance. This means that the earphones will be splash and sweat proof.
The Pro variant’s active noise cancellation (ANC) will be able to reduce noise by 25 decibels.
The headset will also come with 20 hours of playback, and comparatively, the standard model has been rated up to eight hours of endurance.
The Pro variant’s endurance has been based on the volume being at 50% as compared to the standard model’s model was rate at 80%. However, there is no news about the Pro model’s playback time with ANC enabled.Â

Additionally, the new headset also has a bigger battery, of 150 mAh, as compared to the old one, which was 140 mAh. The earphones will come with microUSB charging.
The other noteworthy features on the headphones will be voice assistant support via your phone’s assistant, low latency audio, and a 10mm bass driver.
The earphones have been pitted against the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z, and the price of Xiaomi’s Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro is a bit lesser than its OnePlus counterpart. However, both the gadgets have a similar claimed battery life and the same IP rating.
Xiaomi’s device also comes with ANC, which is not there in the OnePlus earphones. However, the OnePlus gadget comes with fast charging – the OnePlus earphones will work for 10 hours on a single charge for ten minutes. Whereas, the Xiaomi gadget takes about 1.5 hours to be fully charged.
