iPhone 12 Battery Is Draining Out & Users Are Upset; Signal Drop, Lock Screen Bug & Now Battery Issue

Some of the iPhone 12 Pro users have reported an issue that witnesses excessive power draw from the handset’s battery while idle.

The iPhone 12 Pro owners have taken this issue to Apple’s Support Forums which has cropped up on various Apple products throughout the years.

Prior to this, Phone 12 users were Complaining about signal drop while driving.

It seams the iPhone 12 complaints continue to mount as a battery drain issue is also now being reported by users.

In the same regards, An iPhone 12 Pro user took to Apple forums to complain that his unit.

As it was draining battery power when idle with almost no background activity at a rate of 4 percent, which was much faster than his previous iPhone 11 Pro.

Apart from this, many other iPhone 12 users approached the forum saying they were experiencing the same issue of battery drain even when the iPhone was on standby. 

“No matter what I try, it seems to be going down oddly quick. Not to an [unusable] level or anything world ending, but I guess [it’s] sort of suspicious,” Master26A writes, one of the forum users. 

“I check the battery report, and it’s not showing any real culprit, just a rapid decline for no clear reason,” he added.

iPhone 12 Signal Drop Issue

The issue is being reported after the signal drop issues noticed on almost all iPhone 12 series models. 

In addition to that, iPhone 12 also reported lock screens freezing issue.

Now Apple forums are filled with such kinds of complaints regarding the latest iPhone 12 series where users are complaining of a battery drain issue on their new handsets. 

If we talk about the severity of the issue, some users claim a battery drain of as much as 10 percent, while some claim to have lost 30 percent of battery power overnight on idle mode.

What Does Apple Say?

So far, there is no clarification offered by Apple on the issue. 

The complaints are mostly raised by iPhone 12 Pro users who have been complaining  on Apple forums

The other major complaint about the new iPhone 12 series has been a signal drop issue.

In which, users claim to have experienced even in areas where there is sufficient network and mostly when driving or travelling.
