MIUI 12 Update Will Disable These Smartphones, How To Fix?
MIUI 12 update is disabling some of the Xiaomi smartphones including Mi, Redmi and Poco series. Several users have reported unexpected errors installing the latest versions of MIUI 12. Multiple devices have fallen into the endless reboot cycle, without any option to go back.

The newly launched Poco X3 is one of the phones with the endless reboot problem. So, the MIUI 12 update on any of the latest Xiaomi phones can end up as a software error. The smartphones facing similar problems are said to be facing a typical software conflict between the latest firmware and the Airtel operator applications in India.

The latest MIUI 12 update is disabling some of the Xiaomi smartphones which also includes several Mi, Redmi and Poco series. Users are reporting unexpected errors installing the latest versions of MIUI 12. Multiple devices have fallen into the endless reboot cycle, without any option to go back.
The smartphones with the problems are said to be facing a typical software conflict between the latest firmware and the Airtel operator applications. The problem is said to be specific in India, so you can fix the MIUI 12 bug by removing the applications solving the issue.
Or, to only exit the reboot cycle, it can only be done resetting to factory settings leading to loss of all your data.
Though nothing has been officially confirmed or reported, so there’s no guarantee that the MIUI 12 problem will not occur with any other application.
The official Xiaomi support forum updated a similar MIUI 12 bug last month, and it was soon removed and is now only available in the Google cache. Reported devices with MIUI 12 facing the endless reboot cycle problem are: Redmi K20 Pro, Poco X3, Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (till now).

MIUI 12 global update beta with Android 10 update on top will be rolled out for Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8T. Some other devices will also be receiving the MIUI 12 global update as well. The next are Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9S which will receive the stable MIUI 12 global update.
