On July 30, Kia Motors India unveiled the official images showing Kia Sonet’s interior and exterior.
The compact SUV by Kia will make its world debut on August 7 and will be launched in September.

What Do the Kia Sonet Images Tell Us So Far!
In January, Kia Sonet was spotted being tested on the roads and was showcased in Auto Expo 2020.
The exterior design of the Kia Sonet features a combination of distinctive and dynamic lines.
Sonet will sport the South-Korean brand’s signature styling traits such as the iconic ‘tiger nose’ grille, with a 3D ‘stepwell’ geometric grille mesh. This Kia’s distinct design gives its cars a bold look.
The Kia Sonnet has LED headlights on both sides of the central ‘Tiger Nose’ grille. The wide tail-lights connected by a red reflector bar makes the width of the car prominent.
The images also show a brushed-silver scuff plate at the front and a faux diffuser at the rear of the SUV along with tiny mirrors and humongous wheels.

The interior of the Sonet is armed with a modern and feature packed cabin. The cabin sports a smooth, elegant dashboard and a aesthetic, minimalist center console that offers access to the SUV’s features.
The vertical air vents on the dashboard will be decorated with a metallic, diamond-knurled pattern. The switches for the auto climate control system are placed between the AC vents and also at the centre armrest, branding for the Bose sound system and the lever for the Sonet’s automatic gearbox
Bang on in the centre of the dashboard, the high-tech digital display and instrument cluster, featuring a first-in-segment 10.25-inch HD touchscreen and navigation system with UVO Connected technologies gives the interiors a luxurious look.
Kia’s compact SUV will also be equipped with other tech features such as steering wheel-mounted controls, different drive and traction modes.

Kia Sonnet is designed to compete with its peers in the compact SUV segment like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
Habib added, “We believe the Kia Sonet’s compelling character will hold major appeal for young, aspirational and always-connected customers in India and beyond.”
