Redmi Note 9
Redmi Note 9 has been unveiled in China. The device will come to India soon to join the already unveiled Redmi Note 9 series. Redmi Note 9 is powered by Helio G85 chipset, the first smartphone to run on the new MediaTek chip. Redmi Note 9 features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout upfront, but on the corner unlike the Redmi Note 9 series. At the back, Redmi Note 9 packs square shaped quad camera design.
The four camera setup on Redmi Note 9 sports a primary 48-megapixel sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel depth camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Note 9 runs on Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Redmi Note 9 houses a 5,020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
Poco F2 Pro
Redmi K30 Pro 4G will come as Poco F2 Pro in India and other markets, as now confirmed again with the TKDN Indonesian listing. In India, Redmi K30 Pro 4G will either be called Poco X2 Pro or Poco F2 Pro. XDADevelopers also tipped that Redmi K30 Pro will come as a rebranded Poco F2 Pro as the successor to Redmi K20 Pro. It was also spotted in the Google Mobile Services shows ‘lmi’ codename for the Redmi K30 Pro 4G.
Poco F2 Pro is going to be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro 4G, as now seems to be confirmed with so many sources. The recent price leak by Portugese site 4gnews also revealed Poco F2 Pro specifications, and it matches up with Redmi K30 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy M11
Samsung Galaxy M11 could be coming in May 2020. The device will come with a standard HD+ display offering a screen resolution of 720×1560 pixels. As an upgrade over the notch, the screen will come with a punch-hole selfie camera on the upper left side instead of the water drop notch.
Galaxy M11 will be powered by the budget Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 450 paired with 3GB of RAM running on Android 10 out of the box. The new Samsung Galaxy M smartphone will have Samsung’s newly refreshed One UI 2.0 skin on top.
Mi Note 10 Lite
Mi Note 10 Lite has been unveiled in China, and it could be coming to India soon. The device features a 6.47-inch Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a water drop notch supporting HDR 10. Mi Note 10 Lite is powered by Snapdragon 730G SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Mi Note 10 Lite packs a 5,260mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging.
At the back, Mi Note 10 Lite has a quad rear camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Upfront, it features a 16-megapixel camera.
Samsung Galaxy M41
Samsung could soon be bringing the successor to Galaxy M40 with a few upgraded features and specs. The company recently launched new successors: Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M21. The Galaxy M41 may come with the same punch-hole camera design with a better camera, most probably with a 64MP main sensor with a better chipset and 6,000mAh battery.
The just-unveiled Galaxy M21 came with 48MP triple cameras, 6GB RAM, Android 10 OS powered new OneUI 2.0 custom skin, 6,000mAh battery powered by Exynos 9611 SoC.
Redmi 9A
Redmi 9A may come in May 2020. The launch was expected earlier, but it got pushed due to the lockdown. The company a few weeks back unveiled an upgraded version of the Redmi 8A, and now the successor to Redmi 8A Dual is being expected in May, the Redmi 9A. Said to be going against the recently launched Realme C3, Redmi 9A will fight in the budget category offering similar features and functionalities.
Redmi 9A may run on the Helio G70 processor. Redmi 9A will pack a bigger battery, probably the same 5,000mAh battery as Redmi 8A Dual. Redmi 9A will be available in India in the sub-8,000 segment, expected to come with some upgraded features this time.
Realme Narzo 10
Realme Narzo series launch has been postponed once again. There will be two phones under the new series to be unveiled: Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A. Realme Narzo 10 has previously been leaked on popular benchmarking site, AnTuTu. The AnTuTu score of Narzo 10 matches the just launched Realme 6i.
Realme Narzo 10 is going to be a rebranded Realme 6i. The device was recently launched in Myanmar.
A live image of the Narzo 10 from a retail store has been leaked. Narzo 10 will come with a water drop styled notch and it’s going to be a tall display. Realme Narzo 10 scored 2,03,078 on the benchmark test, making it one of the best in the budget range.
Realme Narzo 10A
As Realme 6i, the Realme Narzo 10 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 processor. On the other hand, the Realme Narzo 10A is expected to be a toned-down Realme 6i. Realme Narzo 10 price is expected to start at under Rs 15,000 in India, while Realme Narzo 10A price will stay in the sub-10,000 bracket. Realme Narzo launch on March 26 has been cancelled indefinitely due to the countrywide lockdown.
Narzo 10A is expected to come with similar specifications as the top-end model with some streamed down features including a four camera setup, Android 10 and big battery.
Nokia 5.3
The new Nokia 5.3 is expected in India by May or sometime later. It comes with a 6.55-inch display running on Snapdragon 665 under the hood. Nokia 5.3 also packs in a four camera system on the back featuring a 13MP main camera, 5MP ultra-wide angle shooter, 2MP macro sensor and 2MP depth sensor. Upfront Nokia 8.3 houses a 8MP camera housed in a notch.
The device is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. Nokia 5.3 runs Android 10 out-of-the-box with guaranteed two years of Android updates. Nokia 5.3 price starts at 189 euros (around Rs 15,100) for the 4GB/64GB model.
Realme X3
Realme X3 is tipped to be launching in May 2020. It has been spotted on TENAA, hinting at an imminent launch. The listing revealed some key Realme X3 specs as 4,100mAh battery, 6.57-inch display and 5G support. There will be a special Realme X3 SuperZoom model which will come with 108MP cameras. The 108MP sensor will power the multi-camera systems on the Realme X3 series, expected to be rear penta camera setups.
Expected to arrive in May in 2020, Realme X3 will succeed Realme X2 in the mid-range category, while Realme X3 Pro will replace Realme X2 Pro in the entry-premium category, which may come later in October or sometime around it.
Nokia 1.3
Nokia 1.3 is also expected to be available in India in May alongside Nokia 5.3, the new budget offering from HMD Global. Nokia 1.3 features a 5.7-inch HD+ display with basic specs on-board. The budget Nokia phone packs a single 8MP camera at the back with a 5MP on the front. Supporting Android Go features, the device has different streamed down features.
It will support Go apps such as Camera Go and low-light image fusion technology and Gallery Go. Nokia 1.3 runs on Snapdragon 215 under the hood backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Nokia 1.3 starts at 95 euros (around Rs 7,600).
Realme U2
Realme U2 India launch could be happening soon as a new Realme device has received the regulatory BIS certification in the country. Realme smartwatch has also been certified alongside, will launch soon in India, maybe with Narzo series. While the Realme U series hasn’t seen any upgrade in 2019, a successor is expected in mid-2020. There have been a few leaks about Realme U2 in the past, but all turned out to be fake. Even in mid-2019, the company refreshed the Realme U1 series with a new 3GB/64GB model.
While the other Realme series will continue to have upgrades, the Realme U series may finally get a successor in 2020 with Realme U2, another selfie-centric Realme smartphone.
Google Pixel 4A
The affordable entry-level flagship from Google, the Pixel 4A could be coming this May. Set to be an iPhone SE 2020 rival, Pixel 4A was speculated to launch at the I/O event early this year, but the COVID-19 pandemic led to the cancellation of the event as many other events. As per the rumour mill, Google Pixel 4A could launch in May or June if things are under control by then. Pixel 4A may feature a 5.81-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a punch-hole.
Pixel 4A will be powered by Snapdragon 730 SoC featuring a 12.2-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Pixel 4A will have eSIM support. Pixel 4A will house a 3,080mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
Honor 30S
Honor 30S launched in China on March 30, and it could come to India in May 2020. Honor 30S comes with Kirin 820 5G chipset, a quad four camera setup at the back, 40W fast charging and more. Honor 30S will support 5G. The quad-camera set-up is placed inside a rectangular module on the top left corner.
Three rear cameras are vertically aligned cameras with the ToF sensor next to the camera module. Honor 30S features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with a sizable battery backing it up.
