Later the ex-Oppo sub-brand did confirm a mid-range flagship running on Snapdragon 730, it’s yet to arrive in the market. The company is also working on its 5G flagship smartphone running on the current Qualcomm star chip, Snapdragon 855. It will probably launch another variant alongside the 5G smartphone with the Snapdragon 855 Plus.
According to the company, the new Snapdragon 855 Plus mainly emphasizes on gaming performance. The chip will be able to offer a 15 percent improvement in terms of graphical performance and up to 4 per cent improvement in general performance compared to the current Snapdragon flagship chip.

It has announced that it is working on a flagship-grade smartphone running on Snapdragon 855, and an additional variant may come with 855 Plus.
A Realme gaming smartphone also seem very probable given its current form of growth in the market.
The company has been able to create some shattering sales records in the country just within a year of the launch. According to an interview with trak.in, CEO Madhav Sheth did share that they plan to aggressively penetrate into the market with a variety of smartphones.
Their plan to integrate Snapdragon 855 Plus does throw some light into it, and the company may launch a gaming smartphone later sometime. It’s very early to confirm anything, but definitely a Realme gaming smartphone will launch in the coming days.
Realme X Pro To Come With Snapdragon 855 Plus?
The company is already working on a flagship device, and it will be taking on the recently launched Redmi K20 Pro. The cut-throat competitors are up against each other in the budget and entry-level markets, both in India, China and a few global markets. The company may possibly launch a Realme X Pro to compete against Redmi K20 Pro running on Snapdragon 855 Plus.
Realme X challenges the regular Redmi K20 in the mid-range segment, while it has nothing in the entry-premium space.
